(That button should be greyed out or removed in the Amazon product description, it's confusing/misleading). That said, bike assembly was extremely easy, and took all of about 30 minutes. All of the parts were sealed in a blister pack, along with the tools needed.Take care (as with any machine assembly project) that you don't accidentally crossthread any of the bolts and screws.It will probably be helpful for you to have someone help align and SLIDE into place the handlebar rows where they attach to the flywheel. Per the instructions, DO NOT USE A HAMMER!!!! Lined up properly, the component will slide right on with zero effort. It may however take you a few minutes to figure out how to get the parts lined up correctly.Look at the manual CAREFULLY. These parts fit very precisely, with tight tolerances. Shine a bright light into the work area as you are lining up the parts and it'll be a lot easier.BIKE PERFORMANCEAfter I adjusted the seat's height (which by the way is generously padded and very comfortable) and front/back position to suit me it was time to take off. Within 30 seconds it was clear I was riding a workout BEAST.Everything about the bike's performance felt extremely solid, with no wobble or play in any of the components. As a former world class athlete (retired and now in my late 50's) I spent thousands of hours training on all kinds of gym equipment. This bike is a professional level piece of equipment.BIKE CONSOLEThe bike also features a battery powered computer console interface, which provides various options for workout related functions, including the ability to pair a heart monitor to the device (which I have not done yet but will). Before you rush out and buy a heart monitor however, read the manual for approved devices that will work correctly with the console. If I have one gripe about this bike it would be a lack of documentation in the manual clearly describing step by step with images the various monitor function options. This can be muddled through however.DURABILITY AND RELIABILITYI purchased this bike in January of 2019, and will update this review in six months and twelve months to let you know if there are any issues that come up that relate to the bike's durability and reliability. But so far, so good.FINAL RECOMMENDATIONIf this air bike fits your budget, and you want a piece of equipment that is of professional/commercial quality then this is absolutely the bike for you. Get ready for the air bike workout of your life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just like the one at physical therapy *by G***S on November 9, 2021* When I was going through physical therapy, I decided that I wanted an exercise bike similar to the one that they had. This Airdyne model carries the Octane brand name instead of Schwinn, but with a little research, I found that they are essentially the same product. I could tell no difference in how they look or in the stability. The only difference was that the Octane brand (at the time) was about 10-15% cheaper.I like that this model can hold up to 350 pounds. I have a family member who is overweight but was willing to use a bike that could hold their weight. I also like that it has the option of working just your arms if you put your feet up on the pegs to the sides of the fan blades. Sometimes it's nice to get a good upper body workout and let your legs rest.On the display, I use the ability to track my workout in watts produced because that's how they had us track the difficulty of our workouts during PT. I know that I can work out at about 80 watts for long periods of time--long enough to watch a TV show while working out. And I have hit over 300 watts when trying to see how hard I could go. I couldn't keep up that pace for long, but it was sure fun trying! That seems to be the first thing that everyone does when they sit on the bike. They pedal as hard as they can to see how fast they can go. The thing is that the harder you pedal, the harder it is to pedal because of the air resistance on the fan blades, so you'll wear yourself out quickly that way.When this arrived, thankfully my son was home because this bike is HEAVY. He was able to get the box to the basement, but it was a bit of a struggle for him in spite of him being a very strong young man. I had him put it together, and he had no issues. The directions were clear and easy to follow. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb robust professional gym quality! *by S***Y on December 8, 2021* They have this bike at Lifetime Fitness Gym and I've been keeping my eye on pricing for a while to see if any deals popped up. Well it went on sale Cyber-monday for half price for $800?! I immediately bought it!This thing is built like a tank. It comes well packaged in a single box in about 10 different pieces. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble and you can feel the top robust sturdy quality as you put it together. Its comes with all the tools necessary to build and even the tools are good quality.Once fully put together it's actually quite compact and fits in a bedroom nicely. The ride is very smooth and as you sprint it just sounds like a howling wind (my family downstairs can hardly hear it - they thought it was just windy outside lol).20 minutes of 30/90 second sprint/recovery intervals and you will be spent. It's much easier on my back than rowing machines and you can either workout just upper body, just legs, or both at the same time.
