Finally, an Alternative to Acupuncture Bands!
On 08/24/2024 I tested these glasses having my wife drive our vehicle and wearing the glasses for just over 12 minutes. The premise of the science of these glasses makes sense having to do with stable horizon view of motion especially experienced by peripheral vision. The glasses were comfortable to wear and it seems feasible that the glasses can fit most head sizes and shapes. I will say that you shouldn't wear these glasses if you are driving a vehicle due to greatly reducing your field of vision along with greatly increasing various blind spots during its utilization. During the 12 minutes I only found myself feeling ever so slightly car sick supporting the 95% reduction claims. What was even more amazing was when I took the glasses off how the benefits of the motion sickness reduction continued to last for roughly another fifteen minutes slowing increasing in severity over time. Some recommendations I would make when it comes to purchasing this product is to utilize the case that comes with it. Being a psychotherapist myself, I have found these bubbler style liquids losing their color over time through photobleaching or for other various reasons. I would also recommend that the company consider changing the color of the filling to violet since it rests at a higher wavelength that is more distracting to the eye which might bolster the benefits of the glasses. Another recommendation is that future revisions of the glasses have clear versus solid plastic frames which would increase the field of vision and be less noticeable to the user and people around them. All and all, I believe the companies claims as to the efficacy of these glasses to be accurate and I most certainly will be recommending these to my clients.

Love these.
I cannot recommend these enough. I bought them back in July and use them constantly. As someone who gets car sick not even out of the driveway, I pop these bad boys on and it's almost instant relief. ***I do not get barfy car sick, I get queasy, hot, and headaches. So I cannot attest to its effectiveness against wanting to hurl.*** I will add they do slip around a lot but if I'm just looking forward they stay put. They also keep you and the driver from any arguments because no one can be taken seriously with these things on. They are hilarious.

Finally a solution
My 5 year old has gotten car sick since he was a baby and I was at my wits end. Surprisingly he loves his "throw up glasses" and they seem to help. He is very proactive in using them and when he hasn't had them in the car, he has thrown up. He has yet to throw while wearing them so I think it was a great investment. Saves my car seats!

Perfect purpose
The purpose of the these is to eliminate or reduce motion sickness. I suffer from this when riding passenger in the front or back seats of cars. I used to think it was just my husband's terrible driving but after using these, it is obvious that I was wrong. They are excellent to reduce the feeling of death. Not only am I am not sit in peace and look out the window, I am also able to read and type of my phone. My only complaint is that I wear glasses for distance so I cleared cannot wear both these and my specs. I don't love that I can't see well but I will compromise for the elimination of motion sickness. I wore them for a 45 m drive and on the way back, I felt a little nauseous but nothing close to what I normally would experience. I highly recommend these, no matter how silly I look..

Gaming Glasses
My girlfriend really wanted to play a first person video game called “lethal company” together, but she would get sick almost immediately after a few minutes of playing it. I bought her these glasses hoping they would help, and they seem to be working well. I ask her how she feels while playing and while she says they significantly reduce her nausea and allow her to play for a lot longer, it is not the perfect solution. If using for video games, you still might have to take other measures such as reducing motion blur, and increasing your field of view. Also, she also wears prescription glasses, but she latches these to her glasses. Looks funny, but it helps them stay on. Anyways, I also noticed that she gets to play so much longer while wearing these glasses. And it comes with a nice pouch to store the glasses in!

Can't wear them with regular eyeglasses!
I tried these out of curiosity, as I have always suffered from extreme motion sickness, and although I have found good medication, it's not a widely available option in the US. I tested them on several airplane trips, and on two trains. They may have helped a bit, but on the planes they do nothing for the 'up/down' effects of takeoff, landing, or turbulence. They seem better adapted to train travel, where most motion is sideways and front-back. (I suspect they would function similarly on boats.) They were not perfect; I can only say that the symptoms might have been worse without them. Or maybe not...it's hard to be certain. I may try them in the future on boats, for more thorough testing. The felt pouch was a good travel feature. The plastic is somewhat flexible and not brittle, and the plastic smell went away rapidly, so I have no complaints about manufacturing quality. The big downside? I could not wear them together with my regular glasses, so reading, doing puzzles, or watching video would have been impossible. For the short trip to the airport on light rail? OK. For longer trips, that just isn't a tradeoff I am willing to make for an imperfect solution. In the end, I took my drugs anyway and will probably not use these again, especially for air travel.

From Nauseous to Notorious
Let me set the scene: It’s a sunny day, I’m in the passenger seat, and suddenly… the nausea hits. My stomach turns, my vision blurs, and I’m 10 seconds away from wishing I could just live under a rock. But then, like a hero out of a bad infomercial, these anti-car sickness glasses swoop in and save the day. The first time I slipped them on, I felt an odd sensation of relief. "Wow, maybe this actually works?" I thought. But then I glanced in the mirror and immediately regretted my life choices. I looked like I was preparing to board a spaceship in 1983. The tinted lenses? A perfect mix of "I'm incognito" and "I definitely have something to hide." Walking into the grocery store afterward, I felt like every person I passed was silently judging me. I mean, why else would someone be wearing futuristic, slightly-oversized glasses in broad daylight? But, hey, I wasn’t about to let the stares ruin my vibe. I’d rather have society think I’m a time traveler than risk throwing up on the backseat. As for the car ride, these glasses are a game changer. No more sweaty palms, no more "I’m just going to close my eyes and pretend this is a bad dream." They really work. But let’s be real: you’ll still be getting some puzzled looks. It’s a small price to pay for the sweet, sweet victory of not barfing in a moving vehicle. In conclusion: these glasses are fantastic, they stop the motion sickness in its tracks, but be prepared to be the most fascinating (and slightly weird) person in any room. You’ll be a mystery, but hey, at least you won’t be the one clutching a plastic bag.

Mauvaise conception!

Horrible! I have boguht some in the past that worked great. This was flimsy, didn’t look anything like the photo and had leaked in the bag. Beware when purchasing you cannot return this item. I have contacted customer service as this is not acceptable especially for the price.
