My apologies for the delay in responding. This is all brass...and is heavy so will not tip over. No plastic inside. I love mine!

The bowl is 4.5 inches across and 2.5 inches deep

It is solid, not hollow. I also bought the fox.

They are made of solid, heavy metal. They are not filled with plastic, resin or any other substance.
