K&F Concept Lens Mount Adapter for Konica Lens to Fujica FX Lens Camera Body

need an adapter for my sony a5000 and a set of carl zeiss lens, theK&F Concept M42 works wonders, pretty made up with everying thats important, does what it does, and pretty well.

I haven't tried any other model but this does the job well at a fair price.Easy to connect, feels sturdy, looks good, came in a nice box.Photo taken with a worn Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm 1.4 on a A7RIII.Edit -- it does leak a bit of light (test with a 30 sec exposure with front cap on) but to me this gives a very interesting effect - see photo, it doesn't spoil the image but gives it a luminous effect, like the light is bleeding out of the photo.Please note: Their updated model, with the copper ring matching that of the camera doesn't leak light (same test). Keep this in mind if you don't like that, as it's only a few pounds more. (I have tested that updated model on a M42 model as well, no light leak.

After taking it apart with a tiny tripoint screwdriver, I was able to remove a c2mm plastic shim (This worked but perhaps a microscopic allen key might be better). This enables me to reach and exceed infinity.

dont buy the aperture never locks and spins while you focus

Having just swapped over to Sony from Canon, after many years of being loyal to Canon and having many of their lenses, I ended up with a few of their cheaper lenses that simply weren't really worth selling as the shipping and hassle would've been more than what the lenses are worth.So I decided to put the lenses to good use with my new A7 III, but I first needed an adapter. Enter this adapter. It's incredible!Sure, it only allows for manual focus, even though my Canon lenses are AF, but who cares? This adapter has allowed me to get back to basics with my camera and enjoy photography, almost at grassroots level. It's so refreshing, especially with photography being my main business.The adapter is built like a tank, and together with its box, it fits comfortably into my camera bag. I don't go anywhere without it.K&F have knocked this one out of the park! If you're in the market for an EF/EF-S to E adapter, this is the one you want!

Really well made and so very fine as a design item. Works really well. Fits really well. The only weakness is the glossy internal black finish that reflects some light sometimes and creates glare in some images. Paint your barrel internal shaft matt black K&F! C'mon! I spray painted the internals after taking it apart. It only takes 30 minutes. Taking into account a top quality adapter tears your money for over £100 this is a very good adapter if you are able to paint the insides. And it is incredibly heavy, but it feels superb.

I was surprised with the build quality of this adapter, it being very good!However, I use a Fujinon 55mm f/1.8 manual lens with this on a Sony A6500, and I cannot focus to infinity.This is because the adapter needs to hold the lens ever-so-slightly closer to the sensor.I know it is not a problem with the lens as it focuses to infinity just fine on my actual M42 mount film camera.Any focus closer than infinity works just fine, it's just a little frustrating that I can't use this for landscape / long shots.

I used several EOS adapters from different brands before, some of them fit perfectly while some are too loose that the lens wobble in my hand when it is mounted on my camera. some are too tight that it grinds on the mount.I am impressed by the build quality of this K&F concept adapters, lens sits perfectly on the adapter mount which is the most common point of error. It sits flush with the camera mount gives a premium look and feel to this 10 quid adapter. I bought a K&F C/Y to EOS adapter before, it is mounted on another adapter (Lens Turbo II to be precise) While it fits nicely, I thought it would be a coincidence that the two adapters' machining errors match and the fact that it is just a tiny metal ring did not help me to judge its machining quality. Now I have a heftier adapter in hand, I can confidently say K&F adapters are very well made for its price point. Comparing to a similar size M42 to EOS adapter from another manufacturer, this adapter is heavier which helps to balance the weight of the lens and bring the centre point closer to the lightweight E-mount camera.
