For those who hate to clean the grill, this is for you
I think to really appreciate this product you have to compare it to the older designs that were not very satisfactory in cleaning a grill (see photo). The three rows of coils design is far superior to the old brush models for getting in between the bars of the grate as well as he surface. My husband hates to clean the grill, but says that this is a huge improvement over what we had been using before.

A Letdown For Thick Slat Grills
A danger some grill brushes have, especially those which look like large hairbrushes, is that they can shed bristles when in use. Those bristles may find their way into your food if they’re left on top of the grill. This grill cleaner (it’s not really a brush) is constructed of mostly closed structures looking like airy discs such as the kind you may find on a farm. Due to this closed construction, it should not shed. The Laukingdom did a reasonably good job cleaning the top of the grill slats but failed to clean the stuck on food between them. This should not bother most but I keep my grill kitchen clean so it bugged me a great deal. My grill plate has wide slats. I expect if yours has narrow slats or wire rods, this won’t be an issue. I noted one loose piece of ‘brush’ as shown in the photo. I doubt this would ever break off but it shows a disappointing level of QA. In sum, this will work for most, but using it on my Weber brand grill was a bit of a letdown.

Safe Effective Grill Cleaning Brush
This is a sturdy brush. One key for a safe grill brush is not using ones with the bristles just jammed into wood or plastic. If one falls out and gets stuck to meat, it's a bad choking hazard if consumed. This brush uses twisted wire to hold the circular bristles in place. You can adjust the bristles a little bit for cleaning and to stagger the bristles for the most coverage of the grill. I haven't tried this on a wide-slat grill, but I can see why (as other review mention) it might not work well on those. The handle has a very durable feel and the wire bundles that make up the brush are sturdy. Enclosing the brush is a loose plastic cover with snaps, and it comes inside a bag you can hang up, or just use the loop on the handle. The plastic cover will protect the wires and keep the bag clean as well. I like this brush, it's sturdy and has a lot of coverage to clean with.

Threw Away Our Last Grill Brush after Getting This One
For years, I had been using a traditional grill brush. But then the wire bristles would end up missing, and I'd worry about them ending up in someone's burger. So when I got this new bristle-free grill brush, I knew I could throw out the old one. The design of this brush means I was able to hit the grill from different angles, and not worry about bristles coming loose. This one has a wide brush head, so you can clean bigger surfaces faster and more efficiently. The short sides are used to clean edges. This particular grill brush didn't scratch or scuff my grate, though I can't speak for other grill materials, like porcelain. The handle has a decent grip to it, so it's easy to hold. The length of the brush is long enough to keep your hands away from the heat. But then I was worried about putting too much pressure on the handle, so I just cleaned the grill with my heat-resistant glove on. Grill Cleaning Steps I Used: 1. Get the grill hot. 2. Use a scraper to knock off any big pieces of debris. 3. Have a container of hot water that you can dip the brush into frequently during cleaning. 4. Brush the grill in sections. 5. Wipe the grill clean. Does this grill brush work as well, or last as long as the more-expensive Kona? Time will tell. But for under twenty bucks, it's not a bad deal. If you grill as often as we do in the South, you have to replace your grill brush every season, anyway. So I'm sure it will last until next year, I can update my review at that time.

Not A Great Design
I like the idea of not having little bristles shed onto the grill, that part is good. The problem with this particular design is that there's nothing to provide cleaning friction, like a scraper. I found this grill brush to do a poor job of actual cleaning, the round "bristles" just slide right over the grill, cleaning very little. There are many brill brushes like this on the market that don't shed bristles. I suggest picking one that also has a scraper incorporated into the design.

It’s supposed to be sturdy...
The helically wound stainless steel material is coming apart and braking off. Precisely what was advertised that wouldn’t happen. They promise 24 hr customer service but it’s been 3 days and I am still waiting. No phone number is listed so email is the only contact avenue.

Sturdy and works perfectly
This grill brush has a 10-year warranty, which is the best I’ve seen. Obviously, there’s not much that can go wrong with this item. It’s sturdy with the “bristles” made of stainless steel. I actually followed the manufacturer’s instructions on cleaning my grill: pre-heat the grill; have a bowl of water handy to dip the brush in..it creates a steam cleaning effect when the wet brush touches the hot grill; work in square sections, not gliding the brush over the grates like you do with a wire brush; and try angling the brush backwards slightly for a deeper cleaning in the diameter of the grill plates. If you feel this grill brush doesn’t work as well as you’d like, try their method. I didn’t at first and did it “my way” and thought it wasn’t that great of a brush, then I tried it their way...it works.
