Typically, the name brand blows out in 3-4 months. Rubber is poor quality and seams come apart. You might get more life from wrapping your feet in thick layer mil plastic. These lasted for almost a year. My son, 17, who I think eats his boots, got the most time in these boots then any other brand too. He really like them and the comfort level. Longevity is key for us and helps the wallet. It would be nice to have a product that lasts... like it should. The back calf adjustment is nice. I picked up a small pair for the little ones.
