I bought this lipstick by mistake about 8 months ago but, that was definitely not a mistake. Love the creamy feel of it on my lips 💋 and definitely lasts a long time. I have now another one and will continue to do so. Revlon lipsticks are the best

I got the Va Violet shade, and I have to say it is not like the sample picture. The purple is more of a dark aubergine purple than the picture shows and the coverage has to have been photoshopped! It's a thin, matte gloss (as in not super shiny but not matte). No matter how much you put on it doesn't have the coverage shown and you can still see my lip colour coming through. Because it's lip-balm like, it doesn't stay for a second on the inner/mouth part of your lips. However, it has been a happy accident anyway. Despite it not being the shade I wanted from the picture, it is a nice colour and suits my skin tone. It feels moisturising and I'm not reaching for my lip balm like I do for matte ones. So I will actually wear this often and I really like it...it just wasn't what I expected.

I decided to commit to this lipstick because at this time of year, I really like a dark, inky lip. This lipstick has a lovely slip to it. It doesn't dry your lips when it goes on. The purple is nice as well, dark enough for that inky lip I want, but not too dark to be witchy or goth. The drawback to this lipstick though is the fact that the colour doesn't stay on as long as it should do (however, if you apply with matching lip pencil, it should be okay), and it goes on unevenly. I do find that I have to do a lot of lip prep before I apply this product. I exfoliate, moisturise (with lip balm), use a matching colour lip pencil and then apply the lipstick. The colour is worth it for me to do all this prep, but if you're just a smear on lipstick and go sort of person, I suggest that you pass this one by.

Thought I’d try this Rose Velvet colour as I use Velvet Teddy (Mac) - this is a very close match and I think I actually prefer the Revlon! Absolute bargain price in comparison and it lasts well throughout the day. Will definitely buy again :)

I have been using a Revlon lipstick for awhile but the colour is no longer available. I have tried a number of brands but to no avail, that is until I found this perfect l'oréal colour. I took another chance et voila, c'est absolument parfaît...Je l'adore. I like it better than my previous lipstick!
