Again in the last few months I started looking at books and tapping into making something unique for me. It was only on reading this book in the last couple of days. I realised it was the same talented artist, designer that taught me. The name did not ring a bell it was the picture and style of the gold work in the book and the uniformity and styling of stitching and reading the forward/ instruction. I realised I have invested in a good book, before I cannot get it. The book is detailed, it will help a beginner, student of embroidery or advance needlework artist, designer, Lesage Embroidery followers, will love this book or anyone who likes beautiful work, might pick up some tips to make their embroidery, stand out. My tiny sample attached is on silk dupion with bugle beads, seed beads, sequin, stones and padding to be finished over the next few months.
