Got 3 different cushions of the same material and only used 2. One was for the back rest, one for under my butt. This material is outstanding for kayaking! There’s minimal off-gas scent, it’s washable, water-proof & it floats! I wish there were handles on both sides to clip it to the seat with carabiners but it’s easy enough to sew some straps or it with a thick paracord directly to the seat. I’m able to use this in both my pelican trailbalzer 100 or my perception drift 9.5 that has a “ non-upgrade-able “ seat. What’s so great about these is that they’re comfy, they don’t get hot or sweaty, and they don’t make you sit too high or too far forward bc of how much they squish down and conform to your body while not compromising any comfort. This made me do a 15mi trip in a rather hard-molded plastic seat a very comfy ride but one where I didn’t have to change foot or seat positions at all. I didn’t actually use this one bc I ordered one with a deeper cut out to fit my cup holder and one that had no Indented cut out for the backrest so this one wasn’t used because the cut out wasn’t big enough for a cup holder and it arrived too late. But, it’s exactly the same materials & thicknesses as the other two I did use/keep of which they are are outstanding upgrades! 5 stars!

Fits lifetime kayak perfectly as shown on the picture. Tried it and it is comfortable, doesn't slide around but are considering stitching a small strap to the cover. The strap will be stitched in a way most appropriate to my liking, for example with velcro or clips. Anyways, the construction is of high quality, thick with a flat bottom and curving top. Light weight, very flexible almost a purple mattress design or appearance. If questioning why I'm holding it with a buster it's because the kayak is on its side.

this is a huge upgrade in comfort and cushioning over my Skwoosh Gel Kayak Seat Cushion which has lasted many years and hours and is still holding up. I am open minded, but skeptical about the duration of the cover on this one. Although, inside material seems robust and probably could just be hosed off if dirty.

The seat is not as comfortable as I hoped for long kayak trips. It is more comfortable than the others I have tried. Not as comfortable as advertised. It does dry and store well without holding odors.
