I do not have the bottle with me so I cannot answer for certain, but I have, for at least 15 years, used Nature's Way products mostly because I have found them to be good quality and reasonably priced, and made in this region., **Q: Can slippery elm be taken with mastic gum?** A: Sure you can. I don't see why not. Just don't take it with other vitamins/supplements, or medication. Mastic gum is a very natural gum, similar to merreh/myrrh gum. It also helps with digestion, so it would actually be perfect paired with slippery elm. It's not considered a supplement, but a type of food, since it's used in cooking too. A lot like the way garlic is used. It's the equivalent of eating, and/or drinking before or after taking slippery elm, and it's perfectly okay to eat/drink as normal while taking slippery elm. I assume this question hasn't been answered for so long cause most have probably never heard of mastic gum, and if they have, their not very familiar with what mastic/mastica, or mastic gum really is.. **Q: has anyone tested this slippery elm to see if it gels?** A: I did test it three times and it did not form into a gel substance, it was more like paste.
