Crunchy and decorative
These are a nice finishing touch to a variety of baking products. Although it doesn't have to be a finishing touch - I mixed some through a strawberry cheesecake filling, for instance, and it added some texture and a cute bit of presentation when slicing up.

They were quite small and not particularly pleasant to eat. You need to be careful what you place them on as they start to disintegrate quite quickly. Probably better sticking with a little icing on a hard icing rather than pressing them into anything soft.
