The sizing is accurate and if you are average or above average in height you don't have to worry about them being short. I love wearing them; they are soft, warm, and comfortable. I typically wear a size 20W pants and a XL or XXL top (depending on where I buy them). I ordered these in 2X and they fit they way I wanted them to--loose. The bottoms did shrink ever so slightly. Not very noticeable but as there is little to no stretch in the bottoms you should take this into consideration when sizing. Both the top and pants are good lengths for me. I am 5' 6" tall and have a long torso and short legs. Even with that, the crotch-to-waist length is rather long. If I had the elastic at my natural waist the crotch is a few inches below my own crotch. But for me, that is okay because I think it is more comfortable for lounging and sleeping.
