Woodpeckers wood products are amazing. These are just the size they advertise; they are beautiful, flawless little egg shaped nuggets of wood. I am always impressed and never disappointed with Woodpeckers' products. Perfection.

Every year my son spends several hours decorating eggs and the next day his creations are destroyed so we can make deviled eggs for dinner. The best part about these wooden eggs was the fact that we could use them as a centerpiece and appreciate the effort he put into creating each one of them, plus we will be able to enjoy looking at them for several years.These eggs were painted with small containers of latex paint bought at the hobby store. Clean up was a breeze!

I used these to swap out for viable House Sparrow eggs that had been laid in my bluebird nest box. They are approximately the same size- and because they are unfinished it is easy to spot if any additional eggs have been laid. After an 2 unsuccessful nesting attempts (no hatchings- obviously), the house sparrow abandoned the nest, I cleaned it out. Bluebirds built, laid eggs, and I now have 3 nestlings. So worked great. BTW, the swapping of eggs is the procedure we use at our State Arboretum, as just removing eggs or nests seem to infuriate the house sparrows, who are territorial, and they will harm native species neighbors.

my kids enjoyed painting their own eggs, the way that they wanted on these. They were just the right size. After they were done I painted their names on them and varnished them for Easter decorations. I had some left over so I can have them do the same thing next year as well!

These only required a light sanding after sealing. Made a beautiful base for decoupage with napkins.

My husband and I decided to decorate some easter eggs for quality time together and to spend less time just sitting in front of the tv. These eggs are so nicely made and will last for a very long time. Heavy, perfectly sized, very smooth and takes paint well. I'll add pictures when we have them completed. I would highly recommend.

These wooden eggs are nicely sized and formed and can be used without sanding (although you may want to do that if used for a detailed project). I painted them for permanent Easter eggs. They were perfect for the job.

These eggs were just what we needed for Easter gifts. It took a month for me to design all the different eggs. But they look great.
