I REALLY LIKE THESE PLAYING CARDS THEY ARE WATERPROOF AND FLEXIBLE

We had plastic playing cards growing up, and my family loved them, but these are thinner and easier to handle. They slide easily, but they’re not as slippery as our old set was. My grandchildren all love playing games with them. I’ve already ordered some for their family for Christmas.

I'm kind of torn as to the usage of these.They are more expensive and harder to shuffle than regular cards, but they are waterproof. And that matters why? Who's playing cards out by the pool, and if they are, can't they dry their hands first?I got these to take backpacking, but who's playing cards in the rain? I guess they can withstand a sprinkle before it starts to rain harder and you quit and go into your tent, but can't regular cards do the same? And if you're in your tent, they don't need to be waterproof.They are fine, but I just can't see myself recommending them.FYI, they weigh 4.61 oz for one deck.

Really liked these cards and we use them often. We've about worn them out.
