Dependable reliable safe fast versatile energy saving essential
Great item. I last bought this item 6 years ago now,it's still going strong, I was just checking the basket size to buy liners, it cooks well it's fast it's easy to cook with minimal effort this is not an ornament that gatherers dust it's essential kit. you can do surprising things.the timer makes it easy to not burn the food and the lightweight basket is safe and easy to handle with my health conditions. I throw cheap frozen chicken breasts n potatoes in it and a roast dinner appears 30 mins later without me doing anything. Mess is also kept to a minimum. I wouldn't be without it I'm still learning new uses it's extremely versatile I reccomend.

First air fryer, bought to test them
So, I have ummd and arrd about getting an Air Fryer and decided to get this cheap one as a test to see if I liked them before paying into the hundreds. What can I say! The tower is about as complex as a kettle and 100% worth the price, I paid £37 on Black Friday. Had some sausage rolls in the fridge, the back of the packet said 20 mins in the oven. Dropped in the air fryer basket for 10 mins and they came out red hot, golden and crispy, perfectly done. No pre-heating like you have to do with an oven either. Then I tried bacon (I am a fried bacon lover for over 4 decades). Placed 3 slices in the air fryer, set temp to 200, timer to 10 and walked off to do something else. I heard it ping, looked inside and wow, all the fat on the edges had crisped up and rendered down and the bacon looked awesome, no flipping half way through was needed either. The taste, texture and crispness was as good as the best I can do in a frying pan or skillet, without the splatter mess and standing around. With a frying pan I would have had to pre-heat the oil, then stand there while frying, then try and get rid of any white flotsom!, then flip it, and eventally place onto paper towel. Results vary based on how cold the bacon is, how thick it is etc. The air fryer takes all the skill out of it, you would know what I mean if you are a bacon connoisseur like myself, I have perfected the art in a frying pan. Anyway, just drop 3 slices in, set two buttons for temp and time and can walk off to do something else. I even dropped a slice of frozen bread on it afterwards and gave it 10 seconds, it half toasted it! then the butter was too hard so in that went on the toast for another 10 seconds. My mornings now just got a lot more interesting. You can not beat a bacon butty yet I never had the time as everything is to the minute from waking up. This way it will take me about 20 seconds then I can leave it to do its thing. Cleaning is a doddle, took me 60 seconds to wipe down while it was still warm, if that. So if you find yourself wondering about Air Frying. I say go for it. Yes. Even if it just for bacon butties in the morning or a late night snack. Will be trying Pork Belly from the butchers next. I find that takes time and care to get right in an ordinary fan oven. Will see how the Air Fryer does it.

Easy to use, superfast compared with oven and easy to clean
Our first air frier so we have no comparison but works well for us. I don't think we had really appreciated that essentially it's just a small fan oven (doh - yes I know) which as a consequence heats up much quicker saving time and cost. It's up to temperature in a couple of minutes compared with our conventional oven at 15plus minutes and then seems to cook a lot quicker anyway. In retrospect should have bought a digital timer. Dial is a bit hit and miss which doesn't matter since like all ovens you just look at the food and take it out when it’s done but digital timer would allow a better idea of how long things take for future reference. Other point is buy the biggest you can afford within reason even if there’s only one or two of you. For example this one might take a small chicken but not together with roasties etc so conventional oven still needed. A bigger one might take it all. Cleaning is simple, virtually no oil needed and you can line with foil etc if you need providing the air can still circulate. Big benefit is no roasting trays to chisel the grease off!

It's pretty decent as a starter air fryer.
Had this tower for about 6-7 years now. It has held up well. It's only just beginning to get a bit grubby on the bottom and as family grows we may want a bigger one. Right now, we'd only use it for 2 adults portions. 3 would be a squeeze and personally I think 4 is too much. I noticed it does stain/darken the wall behind it. So we've learned to move it forward away from the wall when using it.

My daughter chose the Tower over the Ninja
My daughter liked my Ninja air fryer, and I thought I would buy one for her and my son in law for Yuletide. However when we were looking around both of them plumped for the Tower TI7021 family size. There are only two of them, but liked the space capacity as it is quite big, and easily be workable for a family of four. When I purchased the air fryer beginning of October I got a really good price £55.55 and used my vouchers so got a good deal. However the price has increased possibly because of the air fryer trend currently, so now at review the Tower went up to £69.99, then reduced currently at review £64.00. Even though the prices fluctuate, compared to what price I paid for my Ninja, this one looks just as good, the shape is more curvy than mine, but this one does look interesting. The dimensions of the Tower 11.40 x 14.4W x 12.8H cms The Tower does hold a big capacity 4.3 litres which is pretty decent for a family. Usual methods of cooking, much the same as any other ie, does great roast potatoes, I part cook my potatoes, then roast for twenty minutes and the potatoes are perfect, the Tower can also re heat, steam, bake etc. I rarely use oil but if I do just a smidge, likewise the Tower can make cooking pleasant. Very easy to understand how to work it, it isn’t rocket science, it’s just a table top oven basically. Trial and error.. Perfectly cooked all the way through, so no scorching or burning. Saves up to 50% electricity and cooks food 30% faster, especially small chickens. Cooking beef as in stewing beef is divine. Temps normal like your own cooker, in fact if I lived on my own, I wouldn’t have a cooker, just the Tower and a microwave… so much cheaper, and the microwave is pennies to run. Now the Tower has that wow factor, a 3 year guarantee, that is so superior on some makes and models. However you will need to go online to activate the two years to receive. I have no way of testing this, but the company have stated some facts for example the Tower air fryer could well save you £186 a year on electricity.. Air fryers do get dirty so be prepared for brown fleck marks like in the main oven sides and base, these are hard to remove, I use soda crystals for my fryer, however as a tip buy the silicone or paper cases, this saves a lot time, and keeps the fryer clean. The silicone last longer as can be washed, but the paper ones are thrown away. The basket is 10cm deep and 20cm diameter. For recipes I googled and actually joined up on one site, and frequently get recipes in my inbox free, Pinterest does great family and solo recipes also… I have a white board in which I use ie, chicken legs, 15- 20 minutes, air fry.. just until I got used to it… saves keep looking up times. All in all the Tower fryer isn’t in the same league at the Ninja, however when my Ninja dies on me, I would chose the Tower definitely, the price here is a 3rd to what I paid, and my daughter chose the Tower over anything else. For up to four people, it’s a no brainier, the tower is fabulous. I recommend the Tower 100% ⭐️Thank you to the seller ⭐️I hope my review helps you

Terrible. Avoid.
Terrible build quality that didn't even last 4 month's of typical usage. The timer knob was useless for anything bellow 7 minutes as it wouldn't activate in any way. The same knob is also it's critical weakpoint as the plastic sleeve on the underside that slides over the armature of the actual device split straight down the middle rendering the device completely useless. But for the fact that I no longer have the packaging materials for this I would be requesting a refund for faulty goods and avoiding anything like this again in future. Just an absolutely shoddy offering to be associated with a brand like Tower and it's reputation. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Box was ripped!
Box was ripped in one side when it arrived. I hope it works in case of guarantee and that the air fryer is not faulty. I will try it this week.
