Fire hazard and chick's dieing from the fumes
This product has a major flaw. When the lid is shut, when you have heaters on 95 degrees, it melted the lid. The hinges and the wood and the plastic gets VERY hot. The plastic is actually melting because of the way it is built. WAY to hot at the top.

Hazardous
This is a good idea, but the current design will burn your house down. Fiest thing that happens is the plexiglass begans to melt. See photo, not sure what will happen after that, but iam.not going to try to find out. Needs redesigned to prevent this from over heating.

Melting and Burning (updated review)
Within a week of using the item, just like other reviews, the plastic started warping. I tried mounting it to the outside to fix this issue but that hasnât seemed to help. Today I have noticed that the wood is also starting to have burn marks from the heat lamp. The way the heat lamps are at an angle and so close to the wood and plastic is absolutely a hazard.Update: Had to stop using it within one week. The day after I noticed the singe marks it started smoking. The box is just not usable. The angle the heat lamps and light are at practically guarantee burning which would likely catch fire if you actually used it for as many weeks as baby chicks need to stay in the box.

It's nice but definitely not going to hold 30 chicks
Easy to put together but I find the description of holding 30 chicks to be false advertising. At best this will hold about 12 considering I have 9 in there with their feeders and they seem a bit cramped. Also cleaning this thing is an absolute pain with just 9 chicks couldn't imagine cleaning it with 30 !!!

It seems to work
There is a direction sheet (sort of). if you aren't handy don't get this you have to figure certain things out. It says easily switch between celsius and fahrenheit , I lucked into doing that. The two heat lamps with protective covers I moved mine to the back using vent slots. where they want you to mount them you won't have room to get in there and work. I have mine set up and ready for my baby chicks next week. wish me luck. I finally got to use it. It works well temperature and light it all worked fine, kept the baby chicks nice and warm. For the first week with six chicks it was great, but those chicks grow fast, after 2 weeks it started getting too small really fast.

Impressed
So I am actually pretty impressed with this brooder box, sturdy and clean cut with just the right amount room for a small amount of chicks! This is going to be perfect for those that want to keep the box inside the house as well without needing a lot of room. This box feels like it should cost a lot more than the price point, I highly recommend this if you are needing a smaller brooder box for like a dozen or less chicks. Anything more than that and they might start getting cramped after a bit. Highly recommend

Updated review
Weâve used this less than a month and the heat lamp areas in the brooder have started burning. We caught it before it caught on on fire. We ended up having to build our own brooder for our chicks.Purchased this in hopes it would be big enough for 25 chicks. Itâs obviously not. Maybe 5-10. Temperature gage is off so I constantly need to check the temp for the heat lamps. But other than that itâs not too shabby. Wonât be buying another one tho.
