Oily Skin Cleanser, 236ml, Face Wash, For Combination to Oily Sensitive Skin, With Niacinamide (Pack of 2)

I couldn’t count the number of oily skin face washes I’ve purchased over the years, some very good, some absolutely terrible. This one is definitely one I’d repurchase. Whilst not the best I’ve ever tried, it is amazing value for money compared with some of the best. A little goes a long way with this product and I use it after using my makeup remover cloth with water in the evening after a day of wearing skincare products and/or makeup and it really makes my face feel smooth and clean and gets rid of those excess oils. I also use it in the shower each morning and it’s never caused any flare ups or the usual purge I’ve had with other products. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cleanser on a budget with normal, sensitive, acne prone or oily skin types. I also use the Cetaphil face and body moisturiser daily and they work really well together!

I recently had an out of the blue outbreak of adult acne (I'm in my 30's) my forehead and chin were covered in large angry spots some with heads some without and every morning there was a fresh batch. After weeks of suffering I had a look online for benzoyl peroxide on a friends recommendation, nothing on Amazon but saw the reviews for this so thought I'd give it a try and I must say I'm incredibly impressed. It's been exactly 8 days of use and I'm almost spot free, there are a few tiny bumps still there but they're barely noticeable, I can't believe how effective it's been. I wish I'd known about this years ago, I had a similar outbreak a few years back (I think it's hormone related) I suffered through it for months until it sorted itself out, spent a fortune on Clinique products too at the time and nothing worked. This stuff is great, I use a generous amount every morning and night to wash my face, I don't dilute it with too much water so it's still super concentrated, but just enough water to lather slightly, I give my face a good thorough wash making sure I reach the hairline, sometimes I'll let it sit on my skin for an extra minute or so whilst I brush my teeth, then rinse off and only if my skin feels dry I moisturise with the simple oil control moisturiser (found it in boots for £2.86). Over the last two or three days I also started applying Lanes Tea Tree and Witch Hazel cream (found in Tesco, also available on Amazon) directly to my chin and forehead before bed, I just rub it in until the cream almost absorbs and dries onto the area leaving a whitish residue, this combined with the Cetaphil has left me with almost clear skin in just 8 days. This is the best £5.95 I've ever spent. I've ordered a second bottle for my 18 year old brother who has had bad acne for 4 years. Will write a review once he's tested it out on his skin.

I’m one to buy a product if it has many good reviews so I bought it immediately! But then I did a little YouTube search and a dermatologist said this is not for acne prone skin. It may be good for oily skin to help lower that oil or sebum production but if u have acne prone skin then no. Smell- baby soap as first then some flowery fragrant soap smell Clear consistency Moisturising. Gentle yes Do your research before buying any face product!!

I don't normally take time out to write reviews but I thought it was worth it on this occasion. I've been suffering from acne breakouts over the last year or so (I'm in my late 20's) and nothing I have tried has cleared it up. I've been using this product morning and night for about a week and I can't believe the difference in my skin! Almost all the spots on my chin have cleared up (there is a tiny bit of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation remaining, but I'm sure it will clear over time) and my skin feels great. If anything it is a tiny bit dried out, but nothing that is worrying me or can't be fixed. I love the Cetaphil range and have also started using the daily defence moisturiser with SPF. Good value for money and obvious results!

Thank you LOCKDOWN because if we weren't in lockdown I would never have found this amazing product, I bought this because the product I normally buy isn't available due to the shop being closed. So I was using this as a stop gap.. no.. this is now my go to. I have always had oily skin and have struggled to find something that balances washing away the excess oil and not drying out my skin so I generate more oil and this is perfect. After washing my face feels clean but there is a slight silky feel left that means I haven't dried out my skin too much it has also had an impact on reducing blemishes so yeahh.. Enjoy

This is amazing, my skin looks so good. A lot of the reviews are people with skin problems and oiley skin. I have dry areas around my face which foundation and powder will cling to and create a cakey, patchy look. Ever since i began using this my makeup goes on so well and I no longer have those horrible patches. I use this when I wake up and before I go to bed, I use 2 or 3 squirts which I know is a bit excessive. I rub it in to my face for 60secs+ and wash it off the pat my face with a towel. My skin looks so good that ive been going out without makeup which I have NeVer done. It wasn't because I had bad skin, It was because I liked how the face makeup evened my skin tone and created a mask to hind under. Now my skin looks and feels so healthy that I no longer feel the need to hide my face. My family have complimented how amazing my skin looks too. For the price this is a must buy, one of my favourite cleansers ever.
