Greatly entertaining!

What do the people of Verona, Italy in a 3rd Century A.D. Roman Amphitheatre understand that "America" is still only mildly aware of? As the camera pans and scans the arena, most noticible (besides David Garrett and his musician entourage on stage), are the audience members of all ages: small children, young adults, mature adults, and the elderly listening intently and happily to an evening of "musical entertainment," of pure happiness and joy for a continuous 105 minutes. David Garrett is most well known as a "Classical Violinist" by all of his European fans and admirers, and this concert presents another side of Mr. Garrett's musical talent with what is referred to as "Crossover Music." He plays much of the music of American musicians which include songs from "Bill Withers, Coldplay, Nirvana, MIchael Jackson, The Beatles", and so many more. Interspersed with this continual evening of entertainment, are five or more "Classical" pieces from the "Classical Geniuses" such as Bach and Beethoven. Listen for as well a composition by David Garret himself and his guitarist Franck van der Heijden: "Rock Toccata." Each song is introduced with a "Caption of each song" on the left side of the video screen. David Garrett speaks to the audience in English (although he is from Germany), and once again, he engages with his audience throughout the video with eye contact with the members of the audience, and a genuine persona of "gratitude" for the musical evening he is, with his talent, "gifting" to the people of Verona. The enthusiasm of the audience is seen again and again throughout this video, as people smile, appreciate, and demonstrate extreme enthusiasm (notice the happy and energetic person in the audience who gestures in rhythm with his hands and arms during a song two thirds way through the video). An audience member also waves a flag with the words alluding to "David Garrett makes me happy" also depicted during the video evening. I have viewed this video twice now, this time with my young adult Grandson, and he too thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening watching this concert. I have several DVD Video Concerts of the work and music of David Garrett, and I have been an American fan of his since 2017. David Garrett is a child prodigy and completed his studies at the Juilliard School of Music, and with some of the best and most well known violinists in the world. It is evident that he understands the precision, expertise, and overall beauty of the violin. The "Visual effects" in this video are colorfully striking as well. Once again, this is a DVD video not to be missed for an evening of sheer energy, relaxation, and pleasant entertainment, by one of the most grateful and humble musicians I've had the pleasure of seeing, even if only in video form. For all lovers of violin music and musical appreciation David Garrett does make people happy. PLEASE David Garrett . . . some day find the time in your exhausting and busy schedule to perform in America. If only to provide a musical evening to "make people happy" with your musical talent. Thank you again for another wonderful listening and viewing experience.
