They get slightly melty and brown like regular marshmallows. I have never tried to melt them completely. **Q: Is this truly a vegan product or are they using normal cane sugar which is not vegan?** A: I'm assuming you're referring to the use of bone char in cane sugar. If that is the case, then I've found a couple of sources that indicate that the sugar is not made using bone char.
