Sturdy for kids up to 15 years old
This bed is really sturdy. We bought two other ones for our 4 boys. We had to return one of them because of how flimsy it was. We bought this more expensive one but it is worth the money. The kids are growing but I don’t see a problem with them using it for the next few years with no worries of it falling apart.

My 10 yo loves it!
Kid and the cats love this new space. I’m ordering a Murphy desk to go underneath and plan to mount a TV below for gaming. We’re also ordering a tension curtain rod to add some Minecraft curtains for fun. Insta-fort! Assembly was relatively easy. Did need help connecting the frame at a few points. Careful to be sure you know which size screw to use when adding the staircase to the bed frame. We almost had one get stuck. It can be a bit wobbly. My plan is to get a board from the hardware store and secure it to the wall. We also used sticker pads made to go in the bottom of stair legs where the bed touches the walls and baseboards to reduce noise. Would be great if Amazon recommended storage boxes that fit under the stairs since they’re all different sizes. Only feedback from the kid was that it could be a bit higher up. The pricing was fair, but watch out for the additional shipping cost. Despite this it was still cheaper to order from Amazon than other sites such as Overstock and Wayfair. All and all great product. Wish I had one growing up!

Well at least the kids like it.
Holy moly was this hard to put together. Took my husband and I about 4 hours. The thing that threw us off the most was trying to line of the slates from one bar to the bar on the other side. As soon as we’d get one in the others would fall out. And it was a cycle of trying to get them in. Finally we got it done. Too bad we couldn’t attach the slide because we didn’t have enough room.

Not as nice as I'd hoped for, by the price paid.
Screws won't stay in. My 3 and 4 year old Leo taking them out by hand. Have already bent a screw fire the ladder. Bases for mattresses were hard to put together. Screw holes on back sleep trails appear to have been forgotten.
