I rarely write reviews. When I do, it's because the product is terrible or exceptional. This case is very much the latter.I've been using the silicone Apple case for the past year. It's fine, a little difficult removing from pocket with the tracky friction. My biggest gripe is it's just too wide. It survived a drop onto concrete when I fumbled a one-handed attempt to tap the left side of the screen. With a crack in the plastic case frame on the corner, I decided to look for something new.This thing blew me away when I received it. The fit is crispy, snugs right up and is rock solid when in place, but the slim profile is the most impressive aspect. It nearly fits inside the old Apple silicone case.Beyond the exceptionally minimal size, the materials really stand out to me. I loved the look of the red stitching on this one and was pleasantly surprised that it actually adds a tactile texture along the stitch line. The aramid weave is extremely precise, lining up nicely on the corner seams.While I did use some reward points to offset the cost, I would not hesitate to pay full retail after using this case. Pitaka is now my go-to, looking forward to my next case when I upgrade.

It’s pretty rare to find a brand of anything that never misses a step in the quality of what they do. Pitaka really is one of those businesses. This case is not intended for some huge drop - they sell a more heavy duty for that.The color and design I love - vibrant and just really attractive.Has enough of an edge on the front to lift your display off a table (a thicker screen protector it may not) and your buttons are exposed for more of that case-less feel. Cameras are well protected with a metal ring around them.If you’re the type of person, like myself, that wants the caseless feel with some protection and a case of real quality…Pitaka is the perfect choice.AND, even though it is thin and light - it does have MagSafe built right in with a really good, strong hold.Order one, you will not be disappointed.
