A Must-Read for Every Parent!
The Montessori Child is a fantastic guide for anyone looking to raise independent, compassionate, and creative children. It breaks down the Montessori philosophy in a clear and practical way, making it easy to apply at home. I love how it emphasizes nurturing a child’s natural curiosity and fostering kindness. This book gave me new tools and insights that have already made a difference in how I parent. If you’re looking to raise capable kids with big hearts and bright minds, this book is a must!

A practical and easy read
This book should be a staple in every school's resource library for families. It stands out for its accessibility, with practical, easy-to-implement suggestions that are especially relevant in today's world. Other reviewers have expressed concern about its mention of inclusive practices but I found that content to be presented in a respectful and developmentally appropriate manner, and an absolute must for anyone interested in raising kind and considerate humans. I particularly liked reading about the lived experiences of parents raising children the Montessori way. This book is an essential primer for families interested in the Montessori approach beyond the toddler years. Highly recommend!

HORRIBLE, NOT MONTESSORI!
This is a horrible parenting book. This has hardly anything to do with Montessori. I have read most of Maria Montessori's original books and texts. She was a devout Christian with strong family values. This books teaches reverse racism, gender identity, gender fluidity and talks about teaching young children about sex way to early. This book has very leftist ideologies and really bad parenting advice. If you have many children like I do and large family setting this parenting advice will run you into the ground. It is not practical nor helpful. Nor is it Montessori at all. It has very unsafe advice like allowing your child to take a bus/tram going the wrong way just for them to learn. Even though it suggests going with the child that is just plain stupid. There are areas that are very unsafe and it costs money to go on the bus. Then the child would think you are stupid for letting them go the wrong way. Then what happens if you end up hours from home and your child is tired or hungry? There is so many things just wrong with this book. I'm very disappointed. I loved the Montessori Toddler but this book is just a waist of money. Just read Maria Montessori's original writings. Anything worth it's weight in salt in this book is just copied from those original books. This book diminishes all Christian morals.

Fantastic resource
I love this book. My children attended a Montessori preschool and I loved The Montessori Toddler to help me support them in their younger years. Now that they are older, I'm glad to have this book on hand!

Great resource!
So many great Montessori principles covered in this book! Our littles attend a Montessori school, but we want to make sure our home set up and interactions encourage those principles at home, too. This has everything from the philosophy background to applicable activities and practices to put it place today. It’s also beautifully written and illustrated in a sturdy, yet lightweight book!

Fantastic Book, Terrible on Kindle Device
I am loving this book so far. Love these authors and how accessible they make Montessori to parents like me. This is the first time I’ve owned their book on Kindle instead of paperback. It’s fine in the app, but I like to read on my Kindle device and the gray text in this file is almost impossible to see. I’d love for gray text to be changed to black so this book would be usable on my preferred device.
