Cuts most excellently
It does a great job cutting. You have to start out slow and cut down into something a little more each time. Even soft things can take three or four revolutions. You do have to keep turning the center pin down. As you rotate it the center pin retreats. So if it doesn't seem like its cutting well or staying in place check the center pin. So for the blade has held up great too. I've probably cut for 500 pieces and have not had to replace the blade.

Essential Blade for NT Cutter
Although the NT circle cutter that uses this blade was pictured on line with this double edged blade, only the cheaper, one-sided, directional blades came packed inside with the cutter. Special ordering this additional double edged blade was essential for me to successfully cut thick foam core from either direction.

High quality blades
I use these blades on polycarbonate sheets. The Heavy Duty circle cutter does an amazing job getting a smooth even circles that match every time. The bidirectional blade does better than the single angle/direction blades for both longevity and on harder materials the tip of the single edge can flex where this one does not.
