It's difficult to be 100% confident, but the dressing does appear to promote wound healing.

### ⭐⭐ Not really effective as an underneath layer

Firstly, I tried three different brands. Of the three Ceeport was the best, and Bestek solidly at the bottom. It did not look or feel like Alginate, and barely lasted a day, in other words, not very absorbent. Rather than throw it away, I decided to use it as a top layer over the Alginate and Silver Honey doing the actual work. The other brand I tried was Everlit, which worked well, but Ceeport had a clear window which allowed me to see what was left in the envelope without opening it.
