bought this fan for my basementand it works great. It fits my window easily and I love being able to switch between intake and exhaust with the remote. On low and medium speeds it’s very quiet, perfect for nighttime. The high speed moves more air but is a bit louder. Airflow is good for a small to medium room, though probably not strong enough for a large space. Overall, solid quality and great value for the price.

The fan itself is good. A little to loud for my preferences. But it is good at pulling in cool air, pushing out warm air, and also has a circulate mode, which is the other 2 cycles combined. Fits in the window good. The big, minor issue is the fan comes with a cover for when not in use. To help keep outside air from getting in. As you can see, it fits lopsided because the straps are not even. But overall, it is good investment.

I bought two of these units for my RV. I wanted to be able to circulate fresh air into our bus from the outside. The installation was easy enough, just pull the accordion style ends out and lock them in place into the windows. I did a little modification so that they would stay in place by putting a couple of small screws below our window to hold them in place. The size is perfect for our windows, and they seem to be well made. I've been using them for about 5 months with no issues. I like the fact that the fan has multiple settings, reverse flow, dual flow, and combination modes. It also has 3 speeds when you desire a bit more air flow. I will say they are a bit noisy at high speed. They provide adequate air flow throughout our bus. I like the cool night breeze it brings into our RV. The price was reasonable especially since it reduces the use of our overhead AC units at night. I would highly recommend this product.

This fan has some unique features that I've never seen with all the window fans I've bought. - It comes with feet which would allow you to use it on the floor or on a table if you did not want to put it in the window for some reason. - It comes with weatherstripping - it has a bug screen that goes on the outside of the fan which keeps bugs from coming in the window. This is probably especially helpful when the fan is not turned on. - It comes with a cover that allows you to leave it in the window in the event you decide to turn the air-conditioning on. Other items of note: - Some users said this was noisy. If anything, I think it's quieter than some other fans I've had. Most of the noise I heard was coming from the wind blowing not the motors. - The remote control has a good range. It worked from the opposite side of the house. Overall this was a good buy for a solid fan. It's well-made and rugged.

I’ve been using my kitchen for a few days,and it has made a huge difference. The remote control is super convenient — I can switch between exhaust and intake without having to touch the fan or open the window wider. The reversible airflow is exactly what I needed. In the winter, I don’t want cold air rushing into the house, and this fan lets me exhaust the cooking fumes without bringing the cold air inside. I usually run it together with my range hood, and the combo works great. Even when I pan-sear steak, the smell doesn’t linger in the house .it’s a very practical fan for anyone who cooks a lot and wants to keep the kitchen air clean without freezing the house in winter.

Aside from the hours wasted on the phone with Amazon ( they promised me a credit for BOTH of these fans I ordered but NEVER gave me the credit 3 months later or any of the additional items on this so called return!! What SPECIAL customer service!) These items power up, change speeds, reverse airflow, change "circulate" airflow, and shutoff all by themselves thus MAKING THEM USELESS. even with the batteries removed FROM THE REMOTE CONTROLS! They turn on all by themselves when you least expect it. What a surprise. I am getting ready to spend more hours attempting to get my credit re-authorized once again but this time ON MY RECORDED LINE! I spent DAYS attempting to reach the mfg during working hours but - NOW GET THIS - WEB SITE DOESN'T HAVE A WORKING PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL! It is times like it is times like this that I wished I worked for that other big retailer ( don't wanna say Walmart if I ever wanted this to be seen)

Easy install, works well mechanically (no knocks are inconsistent speed) and is fairly quiet. There wasn’t quite enough window stripping included, had to buy some more at the hardware store, and lots of open areas around the power cable, and accordion extenders that leave areas where insects could get in, but overall a good design. One big problem though is that, even on the highest setting, the airflow isn’t as powerful as I had hoped it would be. I have a table fan that is roughly the same size as one of the fans and it seems to move quite a bit more air. A discerning buyer that is looking for something similar should probably really pay attention to level of airflow…

This little unit saved my family during a heatwave that just wouldn't quit. Unfortunately, we have the sliding windows that go left to right, but I shoved one side in the frame and left the other a bit askew...it worked quite well after shoving fabrics all around it to keep out the extra heat. If you're looking for a unit that works well, this is it. I got it at a discounted rate and paid about $80. For that price, I would absolutely buy another.

I do not write reviews but this will be my first. I ordered this window fan on prime day and received it almost 2 weeks later. When I opened it, it was dirty and it looked like it was already used. I ended up cleaning it up myself just to save myself some time on the exchange process. When I turned on the fan for the first time, a hex nut ended up falling out into the fan. My fiance had to take apart the fan in order to put it back in place along with the other loose part that came out of it. I’ve included pictures of the nut and the part it fell out of. Overall, I was very disappointed with the condition of the item I received (especially at this price point) and the shipping time. Would not recommend the window fan to anybody unless they’re ok with possibly an exchange.
