Air locks are good but the bungs are useless, far too small to fit a demijohn

Plastic and not glass
I am used to having glass airlocks and these are plastic. I cannot see that the change in material is going to have any effect on the function of the airlocks. Plastic is slightly harder to clean and sterlise than glass but it is less fragile and you are much less likely to break it when you push in the bung. The plastic ones are also much cheaper. For an amateur brewer they are more than good enough
