Good for fine cutting work
Used this on my CNC for cutting names from 1/4" plywood 2" high, so fairly small letters. This bit worked great and I ended up with very little sanding after the cutting was done. Its a very well made compression bit.

Great Bit!
I needed something smaller for an inlay CNC carve and this worked perfectly!

Very good router bit
Although I have handheld routers in my tool arsenal, most of the time when I use a router bit it's in my CNC machine. My most recent router bit acquisition is this Turnextte 1/16 inch Cutting Diameter Up Cut Spiral Router Bit. It's got a 1/4" shank and a 1/2" cutting depth. I like the 1/4" shank because the vast majority of my bits are of this size and therefore it's easier to change bits without having to also swap out the collet.I did a test cut yesterday to see how well this bit would perform, and was not disappointed. It was just a simple design: the letter "A" (my first initial). I attached a brief video of the cut. Normally I'll record the video in time lapse so it won't be so long, but this one is at regular speed since it was fairly short anyway. The bit cut very smoothly and cleanly, with practically NO "feathering" at the top edges of the cut which typically occurs with upcut bits. The cut edges were just about perfect as well. Nice job, Turnextte!I also liked that the manufacturer included a spec sheet with the bit that gave feeds and speeds information. That is always a good guide for me so i don't have to guess. I originally ordered this bit as a backup for my other 1/16" bits, so in case I break one I have at least one waiting in the wings so I could finish the job. But this bit cuts so well it may just end up being the first one I reach for when I need to use a bit this size.

Great bits for carving
This bit cut exceptionally well doing a pretty intricate carve on a CNC router. Finish was very clean, feed rate was not an issue, and cut surfaces finished very smooth.
