A significant advantage of a democratic government, like that in the U.S., is a well-established judicial system. It gives citizens the opportunity to seek justice through the courts. However, the drawback is that some people use this opportunity to file cases that are strange, outlandish, and so absurd that they leave onlookers shaking their heads. Crazy Lawsuit Stories compiles a collection of such stories for your entertainment and pondering. Readers can expect to find comical, concerning, and frivolous lawsuits within these pages. Some of these include: The man who sued a bear The kidnapper who sued his hostages Well-known cases that became urban legend A teacher afraid of children And so much more! Some of these lawsuits are indeed outrageously weird, but to the plaintiffs, they sought justice for what they believed was right. This book was designed to entertain its readers with these strange cases that saw their day in court. Are you ready to read Crazy Lawsuit Stories ? GREAT LAWYER BOOK WITH LOTS OF LOST STORIES
I don't know anything about this book because I never read it but I was asked to order it as a gift for a lawyer. It has great law stories and I suspect that it's enjoyable and would make a great lawyer gift perhaps to put in baskets or as a birthday gift or an office gift for a young attorney or even an older attorney.

My nephew who is a middle school student loves this book. He wants to become a lawyer when he gets older. Now my sister is totally annoyed that he keeps quoting the book, bonus!!!

Too little detail & often no outcome given
I was very excited by the idea of this book. I bought a copy to read myself and had another two in my cart to purchase as gifts. Sadly, I felt the book was inadequate for anyone interested in the law. Most cases were not finished when the book was written, so the book cannot say what the conclusion was. There was also very little detail provided- when I went looking for case outcomes I often found information about the incidents which greatly change the character of the case. I suppose the book would do for young kids, but I am not sure for what other audience it would be worth the price.

Not very funny or interesting.
Not funny and not very interesting. This book could have (and should have) been much more entertaining. Heck, the nightly news is funnier than this book.

Funny and Intresting Read.. Specially if you are interested in Law.
I devoured this book in one sitting! Gavin Barnett's compilation of bizarre lawsuits is both hilarious and thought-provoking. The cases range from laugh-out-loud ridiculous to eyebrow-raising shocking. What's astonishing is that these lawsuits actually happened! The book's strength lies in its ability to balance humor with insightful commentary on human nature and the legal system. Barnett's writing is engaging, and the stories are expertly curated to keep you hooked. *Recommendation:* If you enjoy humor, trivia, or are simply curious about the legal system, this book is a must-read. Be prepared for some jaw-dropping moments and a fresh perspective on the phrase "justice is blind." P. S - Some lawsuits may leave you questioning the sanity of the plaintiffs, while others might make you ponder the flaws in the legal system. Either way, this book is an entertaining and eye-opening read.

Fascinating!!
Some quite unbelievable accounts of incredible tales of (mostly American) lawsuits etc. Interesting reading although almost unbelievable at times. Entertaining!

Advertisement misleading
It's good content but the page count is misleading, designed to give impression there is more to it for the price. The text in centred, with lots of white space and blank pages. It's not as big a book as you are led to believe. Not worth the price.
