Simple to use

This thermometer seemed more useful for large items while cooking. The heat prong was quite thick and strong. Not quite what we were looking for swapped for one that would suit cakes and bread. Still a good product but not for our needs.

This is the second of these that I have had after my Wife put the last one through the dishwasher (don't do it, it's not waterproof!)It is the only meat thermometer I can find that you can put in the meat and leave it in there while cooking. All of the others have plastic faces which melt.It shows the oven temp on one side of the large, easy to read face, and the probe temp on the other. Both seem pretty accurate according to my oven and a digital probe.It is a surefire way of making sure your meat is cooked correctly without the faff of having to get it out of the oven to check!

This is excellent quality with accurate temperature readings. Tried this on a whole chicken and the meat was cooked to a perfection. Such a good quality meat temperature probe.

Very nice thermometer easy to read used often very accurate

Its not very accurate, but at least consistently not accurate. Probably just down to quality control. Mine reads about 10deg too low compared to my Bosch oven probe and other digital probe, but handy to have as a guide and leave it in the joint while cooking.
