No issue with the actual cable so far, but the rubber sheath did rip and there is some spots of bare cable. I've had it in very regular use since Oct 2020 so if I end up replacing it this year I'm good with it. Even the ones at the actual gym break every so often, and those cost a lot more. **Q: How far apart are the holes that are used to screw into a stud? My studs are only 2 inches wide.** A: We purchased pulley only. I don't think any wall would support the arm + weights. I ended up buying a 2" hitch ring with plate, rated for 310lbs, at walmart to be able to clip the pully to the beam. I also bought an extra clip at walmart for convenience, I don't want to juggle the clips every time I change it up. Make sure to check how much weight your hardware is rated for before adding to your setup. I have about a 8.7ft ceiling, so the cable runs a little short. Nothing a 5 gallon bucket couldn't fix! I've only tried 40lbs, but so far it's holding up great! The pully is satisyingly smooth rolling. It's nice to have the 3 different handle options with it. I'm not sure you could buy all of this separately for the package price I paid for it. I'm using the bar strap the pully clips to as an attachment organizer, hey I thought it was a great idea to get the attachments out of the way and off of the ground. I got the 3in1 puppy system on sale for around $70. It shipped and arrived quickly, so far I'm thrilled with it all! I installed this unit in my ceiling of my garage, but the cable that came with the unit was too short (73" long) for my application. I had to go down to the local hardware store and buy 15 foot of coated cable to make the unit practical for my use. After set up the unit is firm and suit my needs for my daily workouts.
