very powerful but mounting can..
Sometimes be a bit difficult. These are not your refrigerator magnets but they will work that way (more later) As some have said.. they are fragile. All real magnets are. They come in a very nice bracket with holes on each end for mounting and the wood screws to do so. If you are mounting on wood? they work great. Just don't tighten the screws to much or you can actually break the magnet. snug is good. for mounting on say a fridge... The magnets will stick to the fridge as any other but... They are powerful. Whatever metal like a knife that you stick to them? when you go to pull the knife off it will take the magnet with it. My solution was to just put a few drops of super glue to the back of the magnet before letting it stick to the fridge. Now it is stuck to the fridge more than to whatever you are sticking to the magnet. if that makes sense. With just one of these magnets I mounted, using super glue and the magnets natural force, a stubby hammer that weighed close to a pound. it secured the hammer with force you can feel. On wood the screws do the job. Very pleased. The chrome plate is attractive also.

Versatility
I like the magnets. They are powerful. I'm finding many ways to use them. Easy to mount, not bulky in size. See video for my latest simple idea.

Very strong
We used these to mount a lighted vanity mirror to the wood vanity, now you can't tell how the mirror is mounted because they are hid from behind. Very pleased with these mountable magnets.

A truly 5-star review by a truly satisfied, experienced customer. But only when used appropriately!
Must use proper sized screws! I love these! I use them to hold tools in my workshop, manicure tools at my seat attached to my side table, and one for my outdoor, metal deck door as a method to hold the door open (even in high winds). The only problem I've had is when I want a more secure attachment and tried to use a heavier mounting screw. When the screw is too large (diameter), the magnet crumbles and is useless. I tried to expand the opening by drilling it out and found the bet caused the same issue, crumbled magnet. They do work great for a cabinet door closure! I still think these deserve a five-star review when used appropriately and maybe a set with a deeper grip screw attachment.

Only one caveat…
Compact and powerful. Two of these hold up Roman style blinds hanging on a steel door - even when I pull down HARD. Only negative is that it is easy to over-torque the mounting screws which will break the relatively fragile magnet that is within the sleeve.

Easy install
These are great for holding kitchen items and can be mounted all around the kitchen. Strong and great value

Useless On Large Cabinets and Too Thick
Too thick, poor adhesive and not nearly the magnetic force required for large cabinet doors. Pretty useless for other applications. Maybe try another brand? The screws are an absolute joke. Strip City !

Genuinely powerful magnets with solid mounting hardware included
These rectangular neodymium magnets are legitimately strong. The mounting holes work well for attaching them to wood surfaces with the included screws. I used them to build magnetic cabinet latches and door catches and they hold very securely. Watch your fingers when handling multiple magnets near each other as they can pinch hard. The black coating looks nice and seems durable. The steel capsule design adds a layer of protection against chipping. A practical choice if you need heavy-duty mounting magnets.
