Not worth it.
This was 5 out of 10 a pain to connect. It's easy to set all the preferences but it hardly works. It beeps extremely quiet which ok dogs have great hearing but I can hold the contacts on my hand at max setting and I can hardly feel it. I think I have had worse shocks from rubbing my feet on the carpet. My dog is trained with a different brand remote collar to return to me at a beeping sound and is excellent at returning even from over a mile away which is the range on his other collar. He dosent even respond to the beeps on this and I can have him sit on the "fence line" while it's beeping and he just looks at me waiting for a command. Deffintaly going to return and I guess put a underground fence in the old school way unfortunately.

i purchsed frm amazon. But it was supposed to be used in good condition.
The product was defective. First i noticed that the battery was not fully charged after being in the cradel for over 8 hours. I left it in over night and put it in the collar. The collar only worked intermittently if you tapped it it would work. So the collar is also defective. I see why it was returned originally. I returned it and Went to the manufacturer and bought a Different unit.

Like a random Running Man collar for your dog
Have you seen the film Running Man? In the movie prisoners are held within areas by having explosive collars on their necks, if they go past a boundary the collar explodes. Well this collar is like that, but instead of having a known boundary that sets the collar off, it just goes off randomly! Great way to torture your dog! [sarcasm in case it wasn't obvious] This collar is so inaccurate it is insane. Total waste of money, and it should be pulled from the market for how poorly it preforms and the injuries/trauma it can cause.

GPS Fence- used for WHPG dog
Needed to write a review to negate the negative things said about this GPS fence. I was hesitant to purchase based on it's low overall rating but I am GLAD I went ahead and gave it a try.We have 2 acres of land and butt up to a small lake that we included in his border.Pros:1. NO MONTHLY FEE2. Variable, personalized border, roam where you decide your dog can roam. GAME CHANGER from radius wireless fence we had even when we had two of them to enlarge the perimeter. Our dog is 4 years old and has experience with shock collars and quickly learned his very new boundaries with only a #1 setting after I used #2 setting for first time and he yelped but was not at all traumatized. (He does have a soft personality but also a stubborn streak) Our dog HAD freedom to roam next door to his girlfriends house since a pup but he became persona non grata when he opened the newly delivered cat food on neighbors porch... We had concerns over how hard it would be to teach him "new tricks" because he was so used to that area as his own but, within one day he figured it out and now I can even walk over to neighbors yard and he sits at his border and waits for me! He is a bird dog and loved going over to the neighbors chicken coop and he now knows that is off limits!!!3. App is NOT hard to set up and I am a mid to low range techie grandma...4. Works for our treed, multiple out buildings land. He can swim out into our little lake with complete freedom as well! We are not dense woods but we do have many trees...5. Works at street border where he would choose to go bark at neighborhood walkers. Now he pulls up short where we placed the boundary.6. No wires to place underground!7. Customer service number easy enough to get through to...Cons:1. Battery life STINKS. Buy two because they do not last for more than a day even when I took battery out at night. Hoping PETSMART comes up with a better battery. Hear me PETSMART? :)2. Collar is wider than his former border collar but he is a 60ish pound dog so it's fine. The battery pack is larger than his old collar but again it's fine for his size. He didn't seem to notice the change in any way. Seems way better than the big name brand with monthly subscription fees.3. GPS simply being GPS will have glitches so use that 25 foot radius as the grace area... He has seemed to have gotten unwanted corrected a time or two when he was fully within his border but again not enough to make me unhappy we changed to this TOTALLY personalized border.4. Wish there was a vibrate option only and the continuous beep with shock could be shorter but amazingly they figure that out and its only a problem if the dog pushes the boundary and that is the whole point, correction for unwanted behavior. (If you are against negative correction for poor behavior then shock collars aren't for you and I wish you luck.)If you are looking for a customizable GPS wireless fence I would recommend and have done so to both our neighbors who were considering them. Oh, and unfortunately I am not one of those people sent free products to review, I just bought the product with hopes that it worked well and it did! So PetSmart, you are welcome!

Proprietary, EVERYTHING! IF YOUR COLLAR WON'T CONNECT, READ THIS REVIEW!
IF YOUR COLLAR WON'T CONNECT TO THE BASE, FOLLOW THESE STEPS!1: Hold down the button on your base until the light flashes purple.2: Go back to the main page of the app where you can add a device. You should see your base listed. Ignore that. Add a new base/product.3: Go through the setup process again (network setup as well), if you set up your fence already, it should be saved.4: Add the collar again by first making sure it's powered on and it flashes green twice, repeatedly. If it flashes green/red, make sure it can receive a good GPS signal. Do not do the setup indoors.THAT'S IT! That's the tech support that took me NINETY MINUTES on the phone to get!!Seriously considering sending it back due to how they choose to conduct business for their customers.****************************************************************The power adapter? Proprietary. The battery? Generic, with a proprietary plastic housing.Just these two factors alone show the lengths they are willing to go to squeeze more money from you. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that while the collar is GPS tracked, at all times, you have to pay a fee to see where your dog is at any given time.Aside from that, setup was a serious pain in the butt. The collar would NOT connect to the base and their troubleshooting guides are an absolute joke. I spent NINETY MINUTES on the phone explaining the situation, getting elevated to higher tech support only for them to LITERALLY have me reset the base, re-add the base to the app (adding a "new base" to your account that is identical to an existing base simply updates that base instead of duplicating it.) THEN I could add the collar to the base.Ninety minutes........ for 3 minutes of tech support that SHOULD have been covered in their troubleshooting guides.
