I use this every day and it makes great coffee. I just use regular coffee so it doesn't have to be a special grind. I pour it through a coffee filter in a funnel to add it to a gallon container in the fridge. There's very little in the filter but I just do it to make sure no grinds get through. It's very simple to use and clean. Would definitely buy again.

I am beyond impressed with this 64 oz Mason Jar Cold Brew Coffee Maker! From the moment I opened it, I could tell the materials were high quality. The glass feels thick and durable, not flimsy at all, and the components fit together securely without leaking or feeling loose. It has that sturdy, well-made construction that instantly gives you confidence it’s going to last. Making cold brew with it was incredibly easy. Just add your grounds, pour in water (into the filter and over the grounds) let it steep, and you’re done. The filter does a fantastic job, smooth coffee, minimal gritty residue, and a clean, rich flavor every time. Cleaning is just as simple, which is a huge win for me. Everything rinses out easily, and the wide mouth makes it super convenient to wash thoroughly. No awkward scrubbing or trapped grounds. I may have thrown mine in the dishwasher! The 64 oz size is perfect for prepping multiple servings at once, which saves time during busy weeks. If you’re on the fence, don’t be, this is a high-quality, user-friendly cold brew maker that delivers exactly what it promises! Highly recommend! ☕️

It seems to work well, but I must admit I did not expect it to be such a bulky type of jar. The lid screws on easily enough, but it is very difficult to unscrew, and also, it moves when I pick up the jar by its handle despite the fact that it’s on nice and tight. I repeatedly took it off and put it back on with the hope that it would not allow for any movement or jiggling if you will. It’s a nice product, but I don’t think that I would purchase it again. I would much rather have a situation where the handle is fixed to the decanter. This leaves me uneasy and each and every time I am using both hands to pour so that I do not use the handle. I would have returned it, but I had already returned another cold brew maker, and that one was because I did not know that it was plastic, and I didn’t think it was appropriate to spend $30 for plastic rather than glass. All in all this product works, it’s just disappointing and I’m being a little generous with the four stars.

I was spending so much money on iced coffee, and those big brand concentrates. I ordered this, and been making my own ice coffee now it tastes better, I put a cinnamon stick with my grounds and it’s so good. Easy to use, easy to clean, perfect quality no issues.

Easy to use with straight forward directions, this item was for my 16 year old & he LOVES it, makes cold/iced coffee that is so much smoother and the bitter after taste is gone, I didn't know what a difference in the taste of coffee the cold brewing method makes, it really is less bitter and seems to have an all around fuller taste/ smell, easy to clean metal filter for the coffee grounds with a 2 quart glass mason jar as the body of the cold brewer, thick glass and a sturdy cap that allows for easy pouring when the coffee is finished doing its brewing thing in the fridge, all parts are easy to clean in warm soapy water, if you're just curious about this "crazy cold brewing phase" that all the big time coffee chains seem to be going through then this is a great buy that I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a sturdy no frills cold brewer, especially first timers like my son & I, it may not make a quick cup of coffee but it does seem to make the best tasting coffee so if you have the time & the fridge then we highly recommend this cold brewer!

So I have had 3 different cold brew makers. While they did the job, and made the coffee, there was always something I figured out I didn't like about it. This one is fabulous. It is leak proof. Dishwasher safe. Has a handle. The glass is thick like a mason jar, making it more difficult to crack (I had one previously that I liked, but the glass ended up cracking because it was thin and fragile). I've ground my own coffee and used pre ground beans. Sometimes I just don't want to ground the beans as I don't want to spend the extra time (advice, this makes a stronger coffee, which can be adjusted to taste by just adding more water or milk). Some cold brews, the filter is mesh making it not dishwasher safe or easily to tear. Some with metal filters, the holes are too large and the pre ground coffee seeps through the holes. This one you can use either and the holes are so small NO coffee gets through. The fact that its metal makes it more durable than mesh ones, and fit for the dishwasher. To top it all off, the price point is good too. It is on the cheaper side cost wise, but definitely high quality. My only (small) critique would be that the top could use a button of sorts to pop it open (like Owala's water bottles). The top on this one is like a shaker blender bottle that you snap closed and have to use some force to pop it open. I am sure that this is to make it leak proof, but I could see some people with limited hand mobility finding it difficult to open. This is not the case for me though, and I find that ALL other positive features outweigh this small critique. I would definitely buy this again.

It took me a few times to figure out how much coffee to put in the filter. You need more than you would put in a coffee pot. Other than that, it works great. I am enjoying my cold brew. It is easy to clean and holds a good amount.
