No sooner did we get in the door and she ripped in to the Amazon box with anticipation of finding what was tucked away inside. I was actually a little surprised at the amount of excitement she had after a long first day back to school after a two week Christmas break. I thought for sure she would want nothing to do with a book, but I was completely wrong. She loved the storyline and especially when she found out the hard worker was Charley the girl dog. At every flip of the page she couldn't wait to find out what Charley and Otis was up to next. The illustrations were fantastic and complimented the story very well.Cons: my 7 year old daughter was upset there were no more books in the series.
