I purchased this castle for my 4 year old great grandson. I was impressed with the quality of the castle itself and how it easy it was to put together and take apart when not using. I was extremely surprised at how many (so many) toy soldiers and men there were in the package. There were so many different types and colors of the soldiers and men. It also included play boulders, ladders, and other items. I would definitely recommend it.

Don't listen to those people who say it's hard to put together. Took like 5 minutes. There are too many characters, but still fun. Catapult and ballista work fine. All in all, a decent bargain.

It was horrible paid all this money for a thousand pieces for my son to never play with the castle and it’s fragile . Do not recommend.

The castle does not like to hold together. Easy to build but the walls always seem to fall apart when my son tries to simply move it.

My 9-year-old daughter had a blast putting this together. We had to fully assemble it -- it comes in flat pieces and you'll have to put them together like a puzzle. Pretty fun! This means the plastic is not super solid, but once put together, the castle looks nice enough. I wish it had included instructions, though, or better pictures on the box. We had enough to go on, barely, but it would have been a faster (and less confusing) assembly if there were a small manual or something. Still, we were able to figure it out and had fun laying siege on the castle with the seemingly hundreds of small knights and archers. The pirate pieces are bigger, for some reason, and the golem is a nice touch.

We got this for our 10 year old who loves it! It is not for younger kids. It is built well but will definitely fall apart with kids who are rough. It is easy to put together as my son did it on his own. It's perfect for people who like dioramas or action play. My son uses it with Warhammer items.

Ok so not bad coming from overseas but what are really getting. Zero instructions and hilarious entertainment. You get different size characters from different timeliness. Some characters apparently 200 of then are to small to play with but you could setup just to step on and use colorful language. The castle base take a little work to properly set. I used a flat head and hammer to set the pegs properly locked in. Probably the engineering background of me drove me to that point. So the box says night and dragons. You get zero dragons, box shows horses. U get zero horses. You do get skeleton pirates. To go with the skull rock formation and a priate Canon. The catapult and other caste weapons shown on the box and in the pictures of what is included well it's not included. That is about it for the hilarious entertainment 45.00(maybe 25) is far over priced but the castle is what my son wanted. The rest may end up in the trash unfortunately. For a 7 year old they need help with proper assembly.

I got this play set for my nine year old son who loves playing with army men. This set is a ton of fun because of all of the accessories that come with it. They building was easy to build and actually felt really sturdy and didn't fall apart once you touch it.
