Works well

This was my first experience with dip nails. I am a complete novice and I found it very easy to do. I'll admit, I was intimidated because there are so many steps and different chemicals but after a few youtube videos, I felt pretty confident. I tried both the dip and pour over methods and I got better coverage with the dip. It's worth noting that the containers of powder are pretty small and it can be difficult to dip the full nail in there at the right angle. I only did two coats and it is rather light so next time I would do three.The top coat isn't great. Mine took for ever to dry and one nail came out matte and textured. It's also not nearly high shine enough. The other thing that I would do differently is not be afraid to file. I was really hesitant to start filing and as a result, my nails aren't shaped quite the way I want them. I was worried about filing too much or getting them too thin, but these seem pretty strong.

This is a decent starter set for someone just getting started with dip powder nails. It's not really a professional quality set, and it doesn't have enough material for a lot of practice. It includes a nice selection of colors.

I really liked the colors of this starter kit for dip powder nails, and I reeeaally wanted to like this product... However I was left underwhelmed. Perhaps my bottle of top coat was from a bad batch or something, but the instructions say to file nails, then do base coat, color dip (air dry), base coat 2, color dip 2 (air dry), activator coat (air dry), and then top coat twice and air dry for 60 seconds each time. I did one nail to start, and the first steps all went well, but the final stop with the top coat, oof. First off, the top coat felt really sticky straight from the bottle, and left a long gooey string when I tried to remove the brush from the bottle. Uh, is that normal? And secondly, it's supposed to be dried in 60 seconds.. what?? I tested it after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and each time the top coat was still tacky to the touch! And of course all of that touch-testing left the top coat a bumpy mess. Once it was finally actually dry (after TWENTY MINUTES) I tried to file it with the "shine" side of the included nail file to see if I could salvage the nail application.. No dice. Now it's dull and looks like I dipped my wet finger nail in toilet paper dust and then let it dry. :/ So... I liked the colors. The set came with 2 of each bottle of base/activator/top coat, a nail file, dry brushes, and a recycling kit which seems like everything you'd need to start off. However the top coat not drying in the stated time really ruined this experience for me. I might try again using my own gel top coat another day (although that kinda defeats the purpose of having "everything" in one kit), but for now I'm really underwhelmed. :/

Totally agree. It comes with tons of options, decent instructions, and everything you need to learn to do dip nails. The pots for the colors are a little small so depending on your nail length it may be difficult to actually "dip" (which gives better coverage) so you may have to try a "pour." The top coat is the only reason I'm giving this product 3 stars instead of 4. As others have said it is a sticky, goopy mess that takes forever to dry. It says 60 seconds, but that is just... not accurate. Or I'm doing something very wrong. Anyway... if you want an affordable little kit with lots of options for maybe a kids party or to learn to do dips I think this is a great place to start. Because the top coat is so important I would not purchase this kit again unless it was for one of those reasons & I didn't want to drop too much money.

Ist definitiv schneller und günstiger als in ein Nagelstudio zu gehen. Zieht aber leider nach ein paar Tagen Luft zwischen Nagel und Produkt. Benutze es trotzdem weiter

I’ve never tired dip nails till I got these today so bear in mind it’s my first attempt. I found them easy to do and not to time consuming. They look pretty decent and feel strong, not sure how they will last as only did them today. However found that the top coat was insufficient and I ended up doing a coat of clear gel with a lamp to get them smooth and shiny. Even after lots and lots of buffing they still looked really textured. Gel sorted them out straight away. So not bad for the price but would recommend buying your own top coat which is better quality.

Habe das Produkt ausprobiert, war erstmal alles ok. Zum Schluss muss der Top coat drüber und damit war alles ruiniert. Die Nägel waren stumpf und rauh. Kein Glanz, keine schönen Nägel. In der Verpackung war ein Kärtchen mit Adresse, an die man sich wenden soll, bekam nie eine Rückmeldung! Finger weg!!!!!

love this nothing to hate, it works perfect, no need for a heat lamp (curer), easy to use, dont put a lot of powder on, make sure you use no1 on edges of your nails, I would and do file my nails smooth first or the liquid wont do its job, your nails are like concrete once done, only problem if using tips to extened nails, which I did as my own nails are very short, when wanting to change the colour, the acetone eats into the tips, you have remove the tips and use new ones, I dont use tips I use false nails, cut down, reason why, I had that many false nails I refused to buy tips, hope this helps, any questions please do ask
