I am giving it 2 stars because it did work passably for at least one of those years. Pass-through power *never* worked, and HDMI was spotty. Would often reset the displays again and again. But it worked as a USB hub for a little bit. However that didn't last long either. The thing is completely bricked now. Expect only about a year or so of use out of it. This is why I generally don't write reviews only after a week of use, because it's important to understand the longevity of the device. I'd search elsewhere.
