Good Walking Stick for Casual Hiker
I have used these about 4 times for 3-4 miles hikes. I find them reasonably lightweight and sturdy. The poles are easily adjustable and have comfortable hand grips. They are a good bargain for the money. I noticed that several reviewers said the poles collapsed on them. Before use, it is a good idea to tighten the screws on the clamps that allow adjustment. Then the poles will not collapse.

Happy with purchase, poles strong, secure and helpful
I am 6'4" and 240lbs new to poles. I purchased them for some long high hikes high altitude hikes. I read a lot of the reviews and was concerned about latch slippage that some people reported. NOTE: the latches have a knurled thumbscrew that can tighten the latch. I tested them out yesterday on a 6 mile 1000' elevation gain mixed hardpacked and rocky trail hike. The latches were very secure and the poles strong enough for my height and weight. I mixed the use of the poles, at first to propel forward momentum on hard pack, later for stabilizing on rocky trails. The poles seemed sturdy doing well with the force I used and gave me high confidence in unstable terrain. As a novice to using poles, I surprised at their utility and I am happy to report these were a great purchase.

Worked great for my needs, but for some...
Dealing with neuropathy in my left foot, and faced with a trip to Europe with lots of walking excursions, I thought these might be a good option to have. I'm glad I brought them! They easily extend to the length you need (based on your height) and have easily interchangeable tips, depending on the type of terrain you're navigating. I didn't know how much help they'd be, since my neuropathy causes me to walk with a bit of a limp, but for a couple of difficult walks, they did the trick. They helped me maintain my balance, and took a lot of the weight off of the bad foot when making some steep climbs over uneven terrain. Used correctly, you'll transfer a lot of the exertion to your shoulders, which isn't a bad thing. My only complaint -- and this is nit-picky -- is that when completely collapsed for transport, they still stuck out of my backpack by six inches or so. Not a big deal, and when the backpack was zipped, they didn't move much, but still a bit of an inconvenience. If this is a huge concern or deal-breaker for you, I'd suggest the ones that fold in several places, instead. These have sliding sections, where each section slides inside the other to collapse. I prefer these since they felt plenty sturdy (I weight 250#) and never waivered. For the price and the results -- I couldn't ask for more!

Seem to be as good as expensive ones recommended by physical therapist
I was able to adjust these with only a bit of difficulty tightening one pole. They were prescribed to help me walk without a crutch or crutches after three surgeries for a degenerative tendon on one foot and a degenerative tendon on the second foot. Keeping my arms at right angles, I was able to walk at least as far as with one cumbersome crutch and the poles are lighter and much easier to use and take with me. I can even press down on the poles standing to alleviate some pain while standing. The price was comparable to prices on the main Chinese ecommerce site without the wait as these like most consumer goods these days are made in China.

A must have
I bought a set for my husband after his multiple surgeries to give him more stability with walking during his rehab. I purchased a pair for me and love them. I have the length of mine higher and find the keep my fingers / hands from swelling which was happening on long hikes / walks especially in warmer weather. Bought a pair for my sister-in-law and she also finds them beneficial in walking stability. The fold down nice for travel, easy to adjust and stay at length when set. Comfortable handles.
