The Tao of Tea, Lemon Balm Herbal Tea, Loose Leaf, 2.0 Ounce Tin

I love quality tea and the whole ritual. It is a soothing experience. The tea tin is beautiful and recyclable. It even comes with a small wooden spoon. The taste and aroma are a exceptional blend that is mild, but full of flavor. I highly recommend this tea.

This is an excellent lemon balm tea. The container is perfect size to fit on the counter and I’ve used this in many different tea blends, and on its own find it to be quite delicious.

As a degreed and licensed acupuncturist/herbalist trained in classical Taoist (not the truncated modern communist version of the medicine), I appreciate the delicious flavor of the 4 different herbal teas I have bought from The Tao of Tea. I think I first got the recommendation from Oprah, so thanks for that, Oprah! I got Lavender (good for easing one's emotions, and for balancing the energies in the body), Lemon Balm (helps with insomnia, and it's one of the strongest anti-virals in the herb world), Hibiscus/Ginger (a refreshing iced tea for hot Summer days, and ginger is great for easing digestive issues), and Peppermint (good for relieving indigestion, and good for waking up the brain in the morning if you're trying to avoid coffee, tea or caffeine, and for students when they have to study a lot). They are DELICIOUS, truly the best quality herbal teas.

I stumbled across this tea on Amazon when searching for a relaxing tea. Lemon balm is known for calming properties. It is a known antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging and the taste. I used 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea in my stainless steel tea strainer and let sit for 10-15 minutes. It is lightly sweet where I do not need any sweetener but I do like to add almond milk to it. I actually save and re-use the containers since they are nicely made and keep tea fresh.

This review is for the lemon balm loose leaf tea. It’s a beautiful tea, delicious, fine leaf quality. I’m writing this review to warn others that it is loose in the cardboard container so take care when opening it. The top is quite tight (which is good) but if you aren’t careful you make jostle it once the lid does release and lose 4 cups worth of tea like I did. Don’t be like me. Open carefully. Will likely purchase again.

This is my second time ordering this tea. My husband and I drink it before bedtime. We sleep so good after drinking it. It's great tea to wind you down after a long day. I love how it comes with a little wooden spoon! It's so convenient.

I like the flavor, and I'm not someone who likes bitter tastes, black coffee, or unadulterated black tea. I drink it plain or with a tiny amount of honey, and it has a pleasant, mild flavor that isn't overly grassy or herb-like. I'll also add my voice to what a number of other reviewers have said: You can steep and re-steep these tea leaves far more than with most teas. I have a scoop left from my previous-favorite tea. With that brand, I had to use almost a full scoop to make 18 ounces. I now use 1/4 - 1/3 of a scoop to make 68 ounces. I could probably even steep it again after that, honestly, since there's no noticeable reduction in strength, but I tend to alternate flavors, and that's the point where I have enough to last until I want to alternate. I'll definitely continue to use this tea (and this company), assuming I ever need to buy more, with how long this is lasting! Edit: To answer some earlier questions, my order came in an attractive, resealable, heavy-duty, decorated container that I originally thought was cardboard but later determined to be a lightweight metal (definitely not plastic). It has an internal lid/seal that has a small metal handle. It's a nice balance of aesthetics and environmental friendliness.
