Oldies but Goodies!
I have to contradict the other reviewer who stated that there is no table of contents. There is none in the book itself but if there were, that would take up another 50 to 100 pages for the 47 books. In the Kindle/Fire options for the book there is an active table of contents and when you select any of the 47 books, that opens to a table of contents for THAT book. The secondary TOC is not active but it is there. This selection has quite an extensive TOC.I have been collecting Jules Verne's books as the "Father of Science Fiction" for some time (for free) and had about 26 books. It turns out that some were duplicates of each other because of the way they were packaged. This group of 47 is a different translation for some of them but, although it obviously has more than I had in the first place, it did NOT replace all I had. There are some books that I have "purchased" from Amazon that are not included. Most of these are the Public Domain (dual-color -- cream over bolder color) with many of them being Gutenberg copies. I did remove 20 books that were either directly in this selection or were duplicated in some way.At over 17 MB for the actual book file, it is one of my larger books but since I don't usually loan and it does have the excellent TOC, it is definitely a keeper. Now just to find the time to READ it all!

Old Tales of the Future
Jules Verne's fertile imagination created some of the very first writings in science fiction. Some of his stories went on to find success as motion pictures almost a century after they'd been written. People are still trying to imagine the future and how daily activity will be carried on. It's interesting to read these old stories and find similarities in Science Fiction writing today. Jules Verne was a man ahead of his time.

Much more than a sci-fi writer!
Amazing stories! I had no idea that Verne was much more than a sci-fi writer! Sci-fi was only a small part of his writing! He was an awesome adventure writer, writing with great detail and possessing knowledge of nearly every country around the world! Considering he was writing more than 100 years ago, that’s incredible!

The formatting leaves some to be desired, but the works overall are incredible, of course, because it's Jules Verne.

Jules Verne strikes again!
It's a low down dirty shame Jules Verne isn't more extensively taught in high school or in college. The man practically invented science fiction. Traveling through time, slipping underneath waves and visiting the lost city of Atlantis, flying around the world in an air balloon, all of it. Pure genius. This is an excellent collection of his most popular works and well worth the purchase.
