Got it as a gift
I gave this as a gift. I was played the same day of open wing I can say that the directions to me seemed a little confusing so we just played to the best of our abilities and had fun with it anyway! The kid loves math and had fun with this game that time anyway!

Not super exciting but a good little game
I wouldn't say this game gets us super excited but my kids have asked a couple times to play. I still am not 100% sure I know the rules that well but I guess if we are making up our own rules and it works, it works. Ha. Overall, the idea is really simple. My kindergartener was able to do some equations in his head but had a hard time seeing that he needed to write them. He did really well overall though. He understood pretty well that he was trying to use all the cards. My 2nd and 3rd graders picked up on the game pretty quickly. It took a little getting used to. I think it could definitely teach them to think outside of the box a little. It was fun to try to make it more challenging for me so I could still play 'against' them. There are lots of little things you can do to make it more challenging or more simple. I haven't played with anyone older than my 3rd grader but I think it could be more fun to compete a little more. The timer was very cheap and also very quick! We turn it a couple times, usually. You could always play without that too. It's a pretty good game for practicing math.

My son loves this game
This game has been a great addition to our collection. My 10 year old son, who is in advanced math classes, loves playing this game. It's an educational and entertaining replacement for him staring at a TV screen. The whole family can have fun playing this game. The premise is simple but it can be quite challenging at times, even for adults. I definitely recommend this game for anyone with children because it makes learning and practicing their math skills fun.

Its a work in progress
Its going to take a little more time to turn my grandson on to this. My son and I had fun. Instructions do not have a logical flow to layout. Game is fine though and could be excellent learning tool. You just need to find a special time to play it-not right after school
