Can girls use these too?

I'm a girl who put her own stars on her ceiling at age 19 when I moved into my own place. I decorated it "my way" after my parents trying to make me a girly girl for years. Everyone who saw my stars loved them. It's become a habit and now here I am, aged 52, married with two kids of my own, typing this under my 8th (more or less) starry ceiling. Everyone needs to find their own path in life -- yours might be lit by stars!

How well do thes come off? I want to wnsure they do not leave a residue on our ceiling or peel the finish off.

I’ve used this poster putty through out the years and I’ve never had a residue left however I have occasionally had tiny bits of the putty left. Even that is easy to get off with a pair of tweezers. The key is to use gentle pressure when applying.

Will these stick to popcorn ceilings?

Yes. I have popcorn ceilings and didn’t have any issues with them sticking.
