Review: Diaphragm pump *** easy to use, dependable, and self priming - We use these for commerical use to pump water, soap solution, diesel, and thick motor oil. its slow pumping oil but oil is hard to pump. water, soapy water, and diesel pump easy and fairly quickly we use the 1 1/2 inch pump but use 1 inch camlocks with 3/4 hose for easy priming the pumping over long distance 25 to 50 feet and they self prime. requires your own fittings so plan accordingly. Pump uses an air compressor set at 40 psi but adjust up or down for desired flow. first one lasted 2 years commerical use. have bought 4 total. no pressure relief so care is needed not to dead head. but seems to just stop pumping when this happens. rated high on my approval list of pumps. Easy to use and dependable.
