Although the glow on this product technically lasts for 12 hours, it’s not as great as it advertises. In fact, half the intensity is gone within an hour.If you want specifics:Start - 100% brightness1 minute - 80% brightness1 hour - 50% brightnessThen a slow fade from 50% to 0% until hour 12It’s still a good product, but not as good as advertised. Best use is for children, kids parties. For anything professional such as use in clubs or for safety such as blackouts and emergencies, you can find better elsewhere.

I compared these glow sticks to two other brands. These shone brighter and lasted longer. These sticks were still glowing 48 hours later. Granted, they gradually faded, but they lasted longer and were brighter than any other glow stick I've used. I was very impressed with this product.
