A Must-Have for Minecraft & Chess Fans! Perfect for Teens
This chess set is fantastic and definitely deserves 5 stars! I bought it for my 13-year-old son who is a huge fan of both chess and Minecraft, and it was a huge hit. The pieces are well-made and the detail in the Minecraft character sculpts is excellent. They are easy to distinguish on the board, making the game playable, not just a display piece. The size of the pieces is substantial, which is great for handling. The overall quality is very good. It looks durable and feels like it will hold up well to regular play. This set is a brilliant way to encourage younger fans (especially teens) to play chess—it adds a fun, familiar element to a classic game. If you have a child who loves Minecraft and enjoys strategy games, this is an absolute must-buy. Highly recommended as a gift!

Better than expected!
We first saw this set at the Minecraft experience in London for £60 (=$79). So I told my daughter I’ll just order it online, this way it’s cheaper and we don’t have to pack it in our luggage. I was worried about the price and quality. But surprisingly, it’s actually really nice. I was worried the board would be hard cardboard, but it’s all hard plastic. The board is large and the figures look well-made. My girls are having a great time playing with it right now. Totally worth it for any Minecraft/chess fan.

Such a great idea
Such and awesome idea for Minecraft lovers. My son loves chess and Minecraft so this was a no brainer. We love playing on this set. Adds a whole other element to the game. Must have if you have a kid that likes Minecraft and chess. Makes the game a little funner.

Minecraft Chess Pretty Cool
One thing that was extra nice was that the board is hard plastic. A little rough for kids to snap together and setup. But a good board once together. If you like themed chess sets and minecraft this is a good product. Pieces are good quality and are good size. One complaint on the set is that the standard chess icons are printed on the front bottom of the pieces. But not the back. So when you are playing. It is easy to forget what piece is what. And need to view the Frontside to refresh your mind. All in all. Happy with purchase. Looks good with rest of collection.
