Great value
Great quality. Very durable. Looks wonderful. Easy to apply. I use this for resurfacing bookshelves, cabinets, and backsplashes.

Super Surprising - Looks Like Real Wood
In order to preserve the wood shelves on a bathroom rack, I purchased this 'Black Wood' Contact Paper. It adheres and lays so nicely that people don't even know it's not the wood itself. Months later, I used it on a wooden tray. Again, it looks like real wood. Rich in color with a realistic-looking, slight gloss.

Elegant looking and true look and color
We bought this to change the color of an electric fireplace where paint wasn't an option. I liked the fact that it had the look and feel of a wood grain to preserve that look. As other users have noted, it is easy to tear. But if you take your time and are careful, it is really not an issue as all. If you a a reasonably decent DIYer you will have not issues. The backside is marked for ease of cutting but we used an exacto knife and a ruler for straight edge cuts If your cuts aren't perfect, no worries, the seams overlap and are virtually invisible due to the thinness of the paper. We had some issues on small carved areas of the trim work. Take your time, use narrow or small strips of paper instead of one larger overlay and the you should have no problems Overall very happy with how the whole project came out.

Extremely easy to use and good quality.
I love this peel & stick paper. I have been updating a wall unit and decided to give this a try. Initially I ordered 2 rolls just to see if it would work. The paper goes on easily, can be repositioned and you can fix any bubbles quickly. You do have to have a gentle hand when applying it so you don't tear it but if you cause a little tear or miss a spot, it's very easy to fix. It's a great value for the money. It finishes nicely and looks wonderful with the wood grain. It is sticky enough that I have no concerns about durability or peeling. I like it so much that I have ordered 3 more rolls.

A Beginner's Take on Contact Paper
I bought this contact paper to switch out the color of my desk when I started working from home. When we all started working from home and with supply chain issues I was not able to get the desk I wanted so I had to settle for what was available. I had this contact paper on my desk for about a year and a half before deciding to part ways with it. Is it worth it for the price? Yes, but with a caveat. It's worth it if you're not too hung up on perfection or if you're a pro at applying contact paper to furniture. Positives: The thickness of this contact paper surprised me—it's really sturdy! The wooden grain texture is a winner too. It doesn't look cheap because the pattern isn't too repetitive. Neutral: One saving grace is that if you mess up while sticking the paper, you can usually pull it off without tearing it. For my lack of experience this was a nice to have because I did mess up quite a few times. It probably didn't help that my first project was a very large desk that required a lot of precise and flat application of the contact paper. Negatives: Now, here's the tricky part. The adhesive didn't seem as sticky as I hoped or as all the YouTube videos I watched promised it would be. People usually tend to advertise contact paper for a fairly longer term solution in upgrading your furniture but this was not my personal experience. Even after applying heat to get rid of air bubbles they started showing up on the surface after a few weeks. But that was not even the worst part compared to the fact it started peeling at the corners pretty much immediately. Overall: I don't want to blame the contact paper entirely for my less-than-ideal experience. Truth be told, it was my first attempt at using this stuff on furniture. If you're a DIY pro, you might make it work. For beginners like me, it could be a bit challenging. Despite the hiccups, the quality and texture are there, making it a decent option if you're up for the challenge or have some experience under your belt.

Takes patience to install, somewhat thin, but it is sticking great to inside kitchen cabinets
I used 2 rolls (15.7 x 118 size) of this white wood adhesive paper for the inside of my kitchen cabinet, to cover the old, unattractive, cheap wood. It brightened the shelves inside my cabinet immediately so I can now see my food and dishes much easier, which is exactly what I wanted. The paper is a bright white color with a light faux wood grain design (also in white). The back has thin paper you peel off when you are ready to install. The back paper has grids printed on it which is helpful when precutting pieces. As you can see in the last photo, I used a patterned wallpaper for the inner cabinet doors and inner sides of the cabinets - this review is for the white, faux wood grain adhesive paper only, which was used on the back of the cabinet and tops and bottoms of the cabinet shelves. Installation of the adhesive paper is a bit tricky and requires patience. I measured each section and cut the pieces before beginning. I was able to install one large piece on the top back of the cabinet pretty easily (approximately 35 inches wide and 10 inches tall). But when I tried a second section of the same size, the paper kept falling onto itself and sticking to itself and ripping. So I admitted defeat and cut the piece for each large section into 2 pieces, and installing smaller pieces eliminated that problem. I was initially annoyed at not being able to do each shelf with large pieces because I was concerned it would look like an unattractive mish mash of pieces where the faux wood grain didn’t line up perfectly. But now that it’s done it doesn’t bother me at all, because you don’t notice the faux grain enough to notice if it lines up - it is a very light design and in the same white color as the paper itself. The photos in the product listing make it look like the faux wood grain is in a light silver or grey, but that was not the case with the 2 rolls I ordered. When I first opened the package I was a little disappointed the faux wood grain wasn’t silver, but now that it’s installed I’m thrilled with how it looks because it’s a sharp, clean white, which just a tiny bit of texture from the faux grain, which makes it more interesting than plain white but not a distraction. If you specifically want a white faux wood grain paper where the grain is in silver color or a contrasting color to white, however, this isn’t the product for you. I learned some tricks during installation that may help you. First, do not peel the entire paper backing off the piece you are installing at the beginning. Peel off about 1/3 of the paper from the piece, then adhere the exposed paper onto the cabinet or whatever item you are covering and press it down to adhere. Then slowly peel a little more of the paper off and press down the newly exposed paper onto your item. This will help with accuracy of paper placement, lessen air bubbles, and largely avoid the problem of the paper falling on itself and sticking to itself. Once the paper sticks to itself it’s pretty impossible to separate without ripping. Second, buy a cheap wallpaper tool kit that comes with a small plastic smoother and small roller. I bought one on Amazon for less than $15 and those 2 tools were very helpful to smooth air bubbles and get the paper to adhere strongly. If you try to use other tools or random items around your house to smooth the paper (like I did!) you will likely rip the paper because it’s pretty thin. The wallpaper tools are built to be gentle with paper so I recommend using them. If you install the paper lightly and need to reposition it, you should be able to adjust it once or twice (I did this a few times). But any more than that and the paper is likely to become too stuck to the surface for you to move it, or it will rip. I didn’t find this to be a major problem. But if your project requires that the paper be installed perfectly so you will need to reposition it a lot while installing, this may be a problem. I installed the paper a few days ago and it isn’t peeling anywhere or showing any air bubbles, so the adhesive seems to be working well. Overall I am happy with this adhesive paper given it was affordable and seems to be sticking to the inside of my cabinets well. Although I bought two rolls of the 15.7 x 118 inch size (which should have been enough for my area, as I measured how much I would need before ordering), I ran out before I could finish the ceiling of the cabinet, so I’ve ordered one more roll to finish it. Altogether I will have spent about $27 to put the paper on the kitchen cabinet shelves and back of the cabinet (with probably 3/4 of a roll leftover). It would have been cheaper to paint the inside of the cabinets but I didn’t want to deal with paint and this was a quicker fix. Some pieces of the installed paper aren’t “perfect,” like some of the bottoms of the shelves had air bubbles that didn’t smooth out but instead formed little creases (see pics for examples). But ultimately you can’t see those imperfections now that the project is finished and I’ve put my dinnerware and food items back in the cabinet. If you are contemplating using this paper for a different kind of project where the paper must be installed perfectly, however, you may want to try a different brand that is thicker.

Buena calidad, pero...
El producto es de muy buena calidad, pero la cantidad es muy escasa. Esto es, es un rollito mínimo y considero que es muy poco material por el precio pagado.

Product not as shown in the picture
The color and quality of the product is not as per the photo show. The product which I have received is grey color and not black. There is no return or replacement option available for this product. So you cannot return if you are not satisfied with the product. Also the product is not worth for the 999rs I paid.

As good as new
Bought this which is more expensive but width was just nice to wrap around the cabinet top. You’ll need to persons to help do this. Need some skills. Although technically we can wrap all in one piece, I had to slice into 3 parts cos the alignment was a little off. But in the end, everything worked out. I didn’t try to do the doors cos my doors hv handles.

Best if applied with two people
This product is great for flat surfaces where you can access all sides, make sure you use a wallpaper smoothing tool as well. Having two people to apply is best, particularly for larger width.
