The media could not be loaded.  Mounting the unit took less than 5 min. Tools needed; drill, level, 4 screws and 4 washers.Purchased the plug in type for ease of installation, hard wire is a more permanent fixed position.Once mounted, we plugged in unit and it bagan to heat. It is totally quiet. Unit takes in the cold air and returns hot air.Unit was installed in the kitchen, starting temp. 45*. Read the instructions on how to program unit. May have to read a few times to get it. Be patient. Trial and error.We set the unit on Program 1 and subsequently programed each feature, at the point the unit will keep a constant temp Monday through Sunday. Constant temp is factory set to 70*, Night time temp is 64*. Frost is set to 45*. You can change thae settings to a higher level, but, to be money conscious they are just fine.We are very happy with our purchase. We had previously installed 4 units in our friends house, 2 we hardwired and 2 plug type. So we were very familiar with these units and their heating outputs.Money well spent and not a pocket buster.Monday we will be installing a smaller unit in the bathroom, can't wait. Installed now and works great. We keep this unit on the low setting which keeps the bathroom at about 64*.We have been so pleased with these units that today we purchased 3 more; 1 for the living room, bedroom and laundry room.In the past we have relied on our fireplace in the bedroom for heat. Not anymore.Just a note, we have central heat but do not use it. Why heat every room if you are not going to be in them. That's a waste of money.
