Im a mothet of 5 girls, 4 of which are in elementary school. Im not sure about the drawing aspect but its great for school kids. 2 words for parents...BUY IT..Its durable, its high quality, strong and easy to sharpen.My kids go through pencils like running water, these pencils have lasted them longer then any pencil available at staples or office supply store.The tip is so strong m, unless they sre purposely breaking it, its hard to break. Oh, and the earasers erase well..Also would like to add my review is genuine. I paid for my product and am giving it a review to help other mothers find a good product.

You would think that all pencils are essentially the same, but they aren't. I wanted a pencil that was durable enough to use for construction, but the leads have far too soft and brittle on every pencil I've tried...until I found these.The graphite is very hard and keeps a very sharp edge even in hard material. This is the perfect pencil for construction, even far better than the traditional rectangular framing pencils. You can make very precise marks for precision cuts.I scribed 13-10" sections of ABS pipe with 1-10" mark and 2-6" Mark's. Since the pipe was black, I had to press hard and make several passes each. The picture shows the pencil tip after the job and I never had to sharpen the tip. Awesome.I think one of these pencils will outlast a dozen or more if any other type.

Most of the reviews on this product are Amazon Vine reviews, so I thought I should leave a review from the perspective of an actual buyer. For the price, these pencils work great. They are comparable to the Dixon Ticonderoga.The erasers are a light purple and work way better than the erasers on cheap dollar store pencils or department store pencils. It's not as firm as I'm comfortable with (I press really hard on the paper, both with the lead and the eraser) but it's not that bad. It erases fairly clean with minimal writing left behind.The pencils come pre-sharpened, so I can use them right out of the box. I sharpened a pencil with my own electric sharpener, and it came out pretty even and sharp. I haven't had any issues with the lead yet, and the writing is pretty smooth. The barrel of the pencil is slightly wider than a standard pencil, but it fits in my sharpener perfectly fine and it doesn't bother me while writing. The barrel is a brownish-yellow color, like tan.Overall, I give this product 4.5 stars. A Dixon Ticonderoga would be 5 stars, to give you a perspective of how the two brands compare. I really do like these pencils, and I will be using them for a while! Definitely recommend.

I ordered the 96 count for my 13 year old son to hopefully last the school year. He has been using Ticonderoga for a few years and are his favorite but as he gets older his hobbies, clothing, and tech/gifts are getting more expensive so I'm trying to find ways to save money. These cost less and he really likes them. He says they write smooth and the lead doesn't break. I'll buy these again.

We often buy ore-sharpened pencils - these were sharpened better than others we have purchased, for a good price and they write smoothlyl. Nothing more I could ask for in pencils. Will buy again

I am not buying any ticonderoga pencils till these are out of production. THE LEAD CORE of these 2# pencils are a bit thicker than that of a TICONDEROGA and much thicker than the Pen and Gear pencils from Walmart. I LOVE THIS THICK LEAD!!! IT MAKES THE TIP A LOT LESS LIKELY TO BREAK !! AND I DONT HAVE TO SHARPEN THE PENCIL AS OFTEN BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS MORE LEAD BEING EXPOSED.PLEASE DO NOT EVER CHANGE THE THICK LEAD CORES IN THESE PENCILS!!!!!!!!THE ERASER TOP LASTS LONGER THAN THE TICONDEROGA ONE----AND IT HAS THE SAME GREAT CLEANING POWER.

I use these with my students and they are durable and long lasting for kids that are in the 1-5 grade!

These are very high quality pencils. My daughter bought two boxes of them for use with her drawing. Love the purple erasers!

I'd initially bought these pencils for the kids for the new school year, the large box was such a bargain for 180 I went for that as I thought "pencils are always handy". For sure they have been - a recent DIY project has seen me forget where I've left my pencil countless times and it's been a godsend to have a box full of them, already sharpened and ready to go! As well as working on paper and card I'm happy to report they work on wood, metal, tiles, plaster, tile backer-boards, vinyl floor boards and unlike pens write any way up.

Probably best pencils on the planet, and superb price for the quality you get! I truly love these pencils! Fantastic product, great quality and awesome value for the money. Very pleased! This product is superior to some of the very popular German brands! Lead is solid and quite dark, so good for use in exams! I have 3 children in reception, Year 2 and year 5. Thus, the demand for pencils in our household is very high. With this box, I won’t mind them losing any pencils at all, as we have lots to last us a very long time!Update November 2020: Just ordered my second box of 180 pencils, as with the amount of homeschooling and homework, these are very handy to have. No need to be running around looking for pencils and or sharpeners! The only challenge is my wife will likely tell me off for ordering so many pencils!

Excellent item. Not very dark in color but grey. Also the rubber is hard and easy to erase clear and neat. However good at all.

The quality of these pencils are great, they are great quality, feel top quality and is a bonus that they're pre-sharpened. Perfect for students in the classroom when they need a pencil.

No broken graphite. Doing their job being good pencils !
