Who ever thought I'd be writing a rave review about a coin sorter?! I was tired of collecting spare change in random containers, especially as banks have discontinued free coin sorter service. I figured I'd rather pay once for an at-home coin sorter than continue to pay fees at grocery store coin sorters. The upright design, which doesn't take up much shelf space, was important to me and I liked that it came with several coin sleeves. The bank gives those out free, but it was nice not to have to make a separate trip to get started. The wrappers fit easily around the coin collectors and filling the wrappers is crazy easy. Also easy to tell with the markings when the slot is full. I wasn't expecting too much from this sorter, given the low price, but it's crazy handy.

Well built and super easy to use. I rolled 2100 pennies in less than an hour. The kit comes with a few paper rolls but nothing substantial. I had purchased some prior to buying the Byteen8 Coin Counter so that wasn't a big deal. Overall very happy with the product.

I mean for what it is, its a good piece of equipment. What I would rather have is a full electric self sorting you just pour the coins in and the machine does the rest. But those are like over 200 bucks. For 11 dollars, this works very well. You have to sort out the coins on a flat surface table yourself, but the easy thing is when you sorted already, you sweep in the dimes in the dimes slot, pennies in the pennies slot, nickles..etc. Its machined just right so no matter how the coins land in the tube, they straighten out and land flat and stack right. Then it shows you the correct amount to pour in, as when you take the tube out and tilt it sideways a bit, any overage just slides out so its the perfect amount. Then you just slide in the paper penny/nickle/quarter/dime roll in the tube over the money, tilt back then viola. Just twist the ends of the paper, and you have a money roll. The functionality is just fine for 11 bucks. An electric sorter would be nice but cost 200 bucks more, so I just sort it on the table myself, then slide them into the respective tubes.

Works great, doesn't over count at amount level. If you don't own a laundry mat this is good enough and fast to use.

For manual loading of coins it works good. It takes time but worth the effort as opposed to being charged 12.5% at a change counting machine.

Decent for coin sorting but the count is inaccurate for several of the coins. The dime is thin and I get that it would be hard to get just right but even the nickel tube was off by 2 coins for a full bankroll. I'm going to create a shim and see if I can get the tubes to be more accurate, but I'd recommend spending a little more and getting something that you can trust, otherwise you just end up counting each roll manually anyway.

So far seems good. It’s a present for my husband who loves to collect change. We will see how it holds up. Feels a little cheap the way it clicks in and out…some are harder and I’m worried about cracking. Time will tell.
