The fact that it is only using the cold waterline as a source is not a problem in using it for men. (Untested for women.) Making sure it doesn't leak is a little touchy. The water line has 2 different ends, one with a 90 degree curve the other without: make sure you use the 90 on the seat and the other on the source.
